Hard Again by Muddy Waters

Loved this. Listened to it twice more over the weekend.

Marquee Moon by Television
Jan 21 2021

I enjoyed that. I'd never heard it before, but could definitely see the influence on bands I like. Really enjoyed the title track.

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Jan 25 2021

A couple of songs I liked, but most of it was just OK background music.

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Jan 26 2021

I could see the influence on acts like The Divine Comedy, but honestly the act it brought most to mind for me was Mike Flowers. Just OK.

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Jan 28 2021

Did not like this at all.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jan 29 2021

5 stars doesn't provide enough nuance for ratings. I've now given this the same as Cocteau Twins, even though I think it's better, but I gave Television 4 stars and I didn't enjoy it as much as that.

Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers
Feb 01 2021

Just OK. Some good bits, some not so good. The good bits brought back good memories, though.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Feb 02 2021

Decent enough in a stick it on in the background while I'm making dinner kind of way.

The Stooges by The Stooges
Feb 08 2021

This was OK, but probably not something I'll ever listen to again.

Debut by Björk
Feb 12 2021

Liked this a lot more than I remembered liking it at the time.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Feb 15 2021

Loved this. Listened to it twice more over the weekend.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Feb 17 2021

Good, but, like most double albums, if they'd taken their best songs and made a single album it would have been even better.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Feb 22 2021

Hadn't listened to this in a looooong time. Don't really understand why. I loved it at the time and it's still great now.

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Mar 02 2021

An undeniable classic. Always love listening to this.
