1001 Albums Summary

All a bit meh.

I enjoyed that. I'd never heard it before, but could definitely see the influence on bands I like. Really enjoyed the title track.

An absolute classic. I never get tired of listening to this.

A couple of songs I liked, but most of it was just OK background music.

I could see the influence on acts like The Divine Comedy, but honestly the act it brought most to mind for me was Mike Flowers. Just OK.

Did not like this at all.

5 stars doesn't provide enough nuance for ratings. I've now given this the same as Cocteau Twins, even though I think it's better, but I gave Television 4 stars and I didn't enjoy it as much as that.

Just OK. Some good bits, some not so good. The good bits brought back good memories, though.

Decent enough in a stick it on in the background while I'm making dinner kind of way.

Good, but, like most double albums, if they'd taken their best songs and made a single album it would have been even better.
