One of my favorite albums ever, I know the lyrics to nearly every song. New discovery: Everyone Has a Dream
A little intense at times but undoubtedly energetic and danceable.
A classic experience
First album bringing baby home; beautiful worldly vibes, great for Abi D.
Psychedelic! Parallel to Jefferson Airplane, but a bit more aggro.
Another psychedelic romp, powered by great writing and guitar. Don't forget "Tales of Brave Ulysses"
Pretty pop that preceded The Shins, Modest Mouse, Phoenix, etc. "Waterloo Sunset" is a fucking well crafted song
Tight pop-rock of a bygone era; a PG favourite.
Precursor to modern protest music, and a beautiful requiem for the Beatle's career. Remember, "Gimme Some Truth"
Not the time for this one
I'm a fan of this band. Cohesive lyrics and tight pop. I'll continue to get more into them as I age. David Byrne is a genius.
A classic from my own life experience, and a beautiful voice taken too soon. "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" will ring out on my heartstrings forever.
Interesting take on folk with a little psychedelic mixed in.
Not my pubm I'm
Not bad! I surprised myself with this one. Not my first choice but songs to appreciate.
Solid proto punk turns pop. "Bit Part"
I like this band a lot, surprises every time I listen to something they made. Not better than ”Niko" but just as good.
Ravishing loud pop, capped by Bohemian Rhapsody. Don't forget - this was produced by Rav Sinclair! We sat at his Shabbat table in Israel.
A classic, no doubt.
Cool!
Solid pop-folk, just as good as Pink Moon. Give another listen soon!
There's a time and a place, but Sinatra is important.
I really like this one. Seems like a transition point between 80s pop and the indie loved in the '00s. The two hits are the best songs on the album.
While not exactly my thing, I can see the appeal here. Similar to a toned-down Chili's or Sublime.
