Led Zeppelin IV
Led ZeppelinThis truly is one of the best albums ever released. 8 tracks, 6 huge hits. It's kinda unbelievable, even for Led Zeppelin.

This is one of the most important hip-hop albums of all time. "Bring the Noice" continues to be an anthem for standing up for the greater good. Chuck D's vocals grab your attention with his aggressiveness, but hold your attention with the message he's providing. This isn't a personal favorite of mine, but it is an absolute pleasure to listen to.
An absolute classic. The rhythmic percussions and hypnotic guitar combine to make this album an escape from everything else around you.
While I recognize this band as one of the best of their genre, this style of music doesn't grab me at all. It is a short album that could easily be played in the background at a bar or restaurant, but I could not get into it using my full attention.
This is a classic album. It has most, if not all, of Skynyrd's biggest hits. It's a great record to just sit back and hang to.

I'm a big fan of Charles Mingus. For me, he is a pillar of jazz music. This album is...fine. I think my biggest issue is the recording of the tracks. The mix seems a bit off. These are songs that I would have loved to hear live, in order to give the whole album a fair shake. As is, the album sits in the good not great category for me.
I liked this more than I thought I would. I was only familiar with Le Freak going in, but there is so much more to offer on this album. The bounce of the 70s funk and disco drives this record. I even enjoyed the ballads that are sprinkled in. "I Want Your Love" is a really fun song that will go into my rotation.
I feel like this is the album that changed most people's opinions on U2. It's such a drastic deviation from the sound they created in the 80s. The hits from this album seem a bit too manufactured to me. You could feel the emotion on albums before 1991. There just isn't any connection with this album and the listeners.
This is a heck of an album. It’s front loaded with the hits…which we’re MONSTER hits when they were release and have stayed in regular radio rotation since. The rest of the record is so eclectic and interesting. George Michael’s vocals are heavily produced, but it work well with the context of the music. This deserves to be mentioned in the conversation of best albums of the 80s.
This is kind of a "meh" album for me. There's nothing spectacular about it. The song writing is fine and I may delve deeper into John Grant's catalog, but there's nothing really pulling me.
This is one of the biggest album of all time. It put Guns N' Roses on the map. The amount of hits is unreal.
Definitely not the best album from The Police, but really good nonetheless. The biggest hits come from tracks 6-9, and the rest of the songs are good. Saying this is The Police's worst album may be true, but it's just because the rest of their work is unbelievable.
This such an easy listen. I felt like drinking an iced tea on a porch after going through the entire album. I'm kinda shocked that it took me this long to listen to this one.
I feel like this album was sneakily groundbreaking. It's lyrics are poignant and the music is attention grabbing.
This album is a prefect example of great musicians clicking on a great record. I wasn't super familiar of this one, but i definitely recognized a few tracks. Such a great listen.
Not my cup of tea, but I can see the appeal.
Yeah, this was a cool album. I'd never heard of Death in Vegas and had no idea what I was in for, but the mix of blues, electronic, soul and metal was a nice change of pace. I'll definitely go through some of their other stuff.
I like Booby Womack a lot. This is a fun album that would murder at a summer party.
The Beatles have never put out a bad album. Of all of the older Beatles records, this my be my favorite. The standout songs are "And I Love Her" and "Things We Said Today"
This is a good album. I liked the "jam band" feel. There were a few times that felt like I was listening to a Grateful Dead knockoff, but then I got locked into the differences.
Just good old fashion southern rock'n'roll. This is a perfect album for driving with the windows down.
This is one of the albums that made me pivot in my listening styles. The story telling is awesome and the music always keeps you on your toes. Really good stuff.
Not my favorite Zeppelin album, but awesome nonetheless. "That's The Way" has quickly become one of my favorite songs of theirs. Just like every Led Zeppelin albums, there are enough hits that can draw you in, that you end up listening to the whole record.
I'm not a fan of Arcade Fire. I realize that is a massive album for a lot of people, but I just couldn't get into it. With that said, it's a really well done and well paced album.
Didn't hate this as much as I thought I would, ha. It wouldn't be on regular rotation but I may go back to it at some point.
Amazing album! This has got to be in the top 20 records released by an American group. They had rehearsed the album front to back at live shows, that it took a few hours to record when they got in the studio.
This isn't the most talked about Radiohead album, but it's a real good one. It's another step for them into the more psychedelic sound. Lots of haunting vocals and rhythmic guitar.
I've never heard any tracks off of this album. After I had, I realized that the Temptation are as great as I thought. This was an awesome listen.

This is such a fun album. I've listened to it more times than I can count, and I still finds new wrinkles to obsess over. McCartney is pretty good.
I haven't really listened to Duran Duran past "Rio" and "Hungry Like A Wolf". I'm not a huge fan of this style of New Wave, but this album pretty good. Other than the 2 hits, I liked "Save A Prayer" the most. 2.5
Every time I listen to this album, I'm put in a better mood. Great funk music will do that to you. 3.5
This is one of the best known live albums of all time. It's great. I prefer the live album he did at San Quentin, but you can't go wrong with either.
There are some really good songs on here, but I can't ever get into Jane's Addiction. Just not my cup of tea
This a great album by an incredible artist. Sam Cooke never disappoints.
I’m not a fan of Billy Joel, but this album is wonderful. It has all the hits.
Bowie was amazing until the very end. This is just another great look into his creative mind.
I was completely unaware of Jane Weaver before this recommendation. I didn't know what to expect, but I liked what I heard. The electronic side of her music is kind of right up my alley. I'm not sure if I'll go back to her music again, but it was nice to hear some music that was off my radar.
I loved this album! I don’t know how I’ve gotten this far in life and not heard of The Pretty Things. An amazing mix of the Beatles, Pink Floyd and modern psychedelic music. Really good stuff
