Stevie Wonderit’s Stevie it’s a great album
it’s Stevie it’s a great album
I have to say I like this even though I wanted to hate it I hate Morrissey but this album is amazing actually
Hasn’t aged well- not huge fan of his vocals - I think the arrangements are all over the place
Meh - sounds dated - I’m bored - I’m not on drugs - bla bla
Love it but I prefer Howling Wolf
it’s Stevie it’s a great album
Sublime in every way
I could not get through this album- it’s so muso flexing with no subtlety and sounds like it’s music for American tv shows- the brass sections are so overwhelming it makes you almost want to commit suicide - I hate everything about this- yes Chicago became one of the biggest bands ever - this sounds dated and boring and at times like nails on a blackboard
I had this album as a child and I played it to death; I was obsessed with it. I even choreographed a dance to Poems on the Underground Wall. It's familiar like a shoe but I still love it. It's timeless..
Off course it's great..he's one of the greats...
Do I want to listen to a Christmas album...hmmm...Probably not...I never really liked 'the wall of sound' thing...it feels like coercive control...it feels like control...YOU WILLL LISTEN TO THIS...I suppose...and then he went to jail for murder...charming
I absolutely loathed this album it seems so trite and boring and meaningless and derivative. I just absolutely hate c&w too
Just a fantastic album- you can’t help feel excited when you hear it - the sound the voice the drums- excellent
I don’t like the Who, I just don't like them, I never liked them, they were never any good, they make music for people who don't like music, well except that hope I die before I get old, which isn't going to happen is it..
The reviews on this album talk about the production and how great it is but I just find it busy and confusing for a hip hop album; too much going on in each track - I just don't find 'the swing' or whatever. In fact I don't like the production; I don't like the songs; I don't like Kanye, I don't like any of it...
I was obsessed with Dinosaur Jr. - when I was pregnant I went to see them and I knew every word- they meant so much to me - I was coming of age during the time before Nirvana and loved all the American hardcore bands - then got into the Pixies and stuff - I can’t stand the Pixies now- it sounds so contrived and I hate the lyrics but I’ll never stop loving Dinosaur Jr
Meh…maybe I’m jaded and haven’t listened to the lyrics enough- but I don’t particularly like his voice- you know who I am hit me..yes of course he’s iconic! I’m so jaded..
I can't stand her voice it's just an abomination and some songs are just the pits, but you can't deny 'You ought to know' and the other 'hits' stand up to the test. It sounds very dated and I can never get over the fact that it's so ironic that all the lyrics in ironic are not ironic as so well done by Ed Byrne in a comedy skit.
