Fever Ray
Fever RayThis is an album that passed me by because, stupidly, I got Fever Ray and Sugar Ray mixed up and just avoided it. Obviously, it turns out that Fever Ray is better than Sugar Ray.

One of my favourite albums.
First time I have ever listened to it. Loved it. Would have been five stars if not for the twenty two minute intro on the last track.
I've tried this one before a few times and it has never clicked with me. It's obviously objectively a great record but it does nothing for me at all.
Has been one of my favourite albums for longer than I care to remember. Flawless.
It seems churlish to give this a rating because it is so 'of its time', but, you know...
An album I was already very familiar with. The overlong last track should knock it down from a 5 to a 4 but it doesn't because it also has Two Words on it.
I love this album. The man was a genius.
I decided at the start of this to listen to every album from beginning to end. I regret that now. I guess you had to be there, but with hindsight this feels like a really overly commercial, uninteresting album.
Solid album.
I found this album a bit dull. Sorry. There is nothing here that can hold a candle to Shake It Off or Look What You Made Me Do.
I hadn't heard this before and found it interesting hearing the band finding their sound, but it isn't an album I'll return to.
Great stuff.

This is in my top five of all time. A perfect album.
This is one of those albums that I'm sure I would have loved if I had been around when it was released. It's impact has been lessened by my hearing records by bands influenced by it before I heard it. In other words, it's not Pink Floyd, it's me.
I really enjoyed this. It's got some of their best songs on it. I wasn't sure about the monkey man one, and I've never been convinced by the choir bit at the start of You Can't Always Get What You Want, but yeah, great album.
Thanks to Hollywood, I just assume that the songs on this album are what the 1950s sounded like. Not bad, if true. Not bad at all.
Brilliant.
I was genuinely surprised that this album had made the list. There's nothing wrong with it, but it just doesn't seem to have enough about it to make a list of albums you need to hear. It's not even the bands best album. It's fine. It's ok.
It's undeniably a big stupid album but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
An album from my youth but one that I hadn't revisited for a very long time. I'm giving it a four, but mostly for the memories.
I'm a big PJ Harvey fan, but I've never managed to get into this one.
I saw Slipknot at a festival once. There were about thirty of them and they all seemed to be playing drums. I thought they were pretty funny.
This wasn't available on my streaming service so I had to listen to it on YouTube. I thought it was great. I think I would have liked it even more without the adverts for the Donkey Sanctuary between every track.
A perfect album.
