Gorillaz
GorillazInteresting album. I imagined Gorillaz to be way less experimental. Lots of interesting songs on this album. A little dull in parts but a good listen .

Favorite songs: Spiders, Soil, Peephole 1998 didn't know what hit em when this came out. Great debut but not my cup of tea
4.5 really nice album with lots of cool soundscapes. Something I've never heard of and very cool discovery . Def worth a revisit
Nothing really hooked me. Solid guitar work but won't revisit
Solid revisit. Only listened to the original album but enjoyed the continuity and nostalgia.
Eh
Cool new find from the mid 90s. Lots of interesting sounds mixed with heavy grunge guitar--- with a little sitar and middle eastern vibes. Fave tracks: Look at You, Witness, Dime Western, Sworn and Broken (cool organ solo), Gospel Plow Heck there is something to like on all the tracks. Feels a bit disjointed but enjoyable.
I was pleasantly surprised with this album. Quality songs, cool orchestration mixed with classic 80s synth sounds. Flavors of Stevie Nicks with complex vocal arrangements. Musical influences from around the world-- Sensual indeed! I appreciate the non traditional song structures. Favorite tracks: The Fog , Heads We're Dancing, Between a Man and a Woman, Never Be Mine I liked almost every song
A lot of corny 80s sounds but classic Prince. He shows off just enough and is restrained throughout . Prince must have been super horny while making this one. THIS GUY HAS LOTS OF SEX it seems. Pretty incredible work for a 22yr old Favorite Track: 1999, Something in the Water, Lady Cab Driver
I just can't get into Bob Dylan. Album was decent, but I will need more listening to fully appreciate. Favorite Track: Shelter From the Storm
Some long winded jams. Some good nuggets in there but didn't enjoy as a whole
Can I get some more marimba!? Nice album overall but a bit boring. Favorite tracks: Let's get it On, Keep Gettin' it On
Nothing beats the iconic HC but there are still several solid tracks on the album . A little fluff and too much synth here and there, but vocally the songs are very well done. Great harmonies and back in ng throughout. I wish they would have let the instrumentation rip a little more as they do in HC. Fave tracks: HC and New Kid in Town
Planet Caravan-- sophisticated slow roll is a nice break Fairies Wear Boots- solid rocker with cool time signature changes. Love this Overall, I'm digging this album a lot! Political , good jams, and solid instrumentation .
Fave tracks: The Sounds of Science, Hey Ladies, Stop that Train Beastie Boys dissonant harmonies always bothered me but I couldn't help bobbing my head throughout. 1989- WOW! Fun surprises and sounds throughout
