Everyone I know who listens to this kind of "chill" music is the least chill person in the world.
A very cool album that obviously had a big impact on hip hop going forward, but not one of my all time favorites. I would be interested to know if this was the first use of the word "scrub" in pop music.
Fiona Apple good
American Idol Voice: It's a no for me dawg.
Loved this one. Great guitar work all over it. You can also hear the roots of late nineties to mid 00s emo/screamo/indie rock bands on an album like this. Closing it out with a cheeky The Cure cover is the cherry on top of this one.
Sounds like a bunch of French Canadian theater kids made a rock album. I liked it!

Absolute banger, the soundtrack of my 2011-2012 or whenever it came out.
Couple of bangers, a bunch of generic sounding country otherwise.
An album that captures the experience of one of your friends getting hammered and just opening up about a bunch of sad stuff. Music to dodge the draft by. He does go in on the military industrial complex on "Masters of War" and he will be a legend forever for that one.

Not my bag
Five stars, no questions asked.
I hate this kind of 80s British mopy synth pop lol
EPIC
I feel like this kinda music you really had to be there when it was released. When I listen to it now it reminds me of that Donald Glover stand up comedy bit where he talks about how all old school hip hop is just guys going like "well I went to the hat store and I got myself a hat."
I wrote and recorded all the inserts and skits on this album.
