Rounding up here. I think the album is a 4.5. Amazing sounding album however the first 3 tracks aren't on the same level of perfection as the back half of the album is
a pretty average album to me, nothing stood out too much. favorite tracks were: It's only natural, fall at your feet, and four seasons in one day
The front half of this album is really strong, I loved the energy, the songs that didn't work for me were lost someone, and the medley. 7/10
An interesting listen, I enjoyed what I hurt, however I will not be revisiting it
i enjoyed it. 7/10 fave tracks: little faith, sorrow
i mean it just exists, i enjoyed some of what I heard but it was so stale 5/10
there isn't a single song on this album that I dislike, which is why I rounded this up to 4, but I swear arctic monkeys have one sound and they do NOT deviate from it. I may have liked every song off the album but I was glad I was done once it was over. Every song just feels like more of the same. 7/10
i don't think i like grunge 4/10
I really like folk, and the good tracks on this album really stand out as some essential folk songs, Talkin' Bout a Revolution and For My Lover. However, the rest of the album falls short of greatness for me 7/10
It's the kind of folk music that made me think all folk was boring and not good 4/10
I'm sure at the time this came out it was average, but with how saturated we are with good albums from every era this album is still just average 4/10
What is love is the only good track
THIS WAS BORING BOOOOOOO 4/10
this is a boring rock album. i do not like it. it is very average 5/10
I was originally feeling a 3/5 on this album the whole way through, as there were a couple solid songs with mostly average filler, but my favorite track on this album, high horse (sucker for dream-pop here), made me round it up to a 4/5. 7/10
some good pop music. 7/10
oh my god this album is so boring. I feel nothing 2/10
i know i know, semi-classic soul album, just not a fan 5/10
the most surprising record i've listened from this, this was a really good pop album. i really enjoyed most of the tracks, my biggest gripe is the songs that fade out :) 8/10
i liked the sound and it was a pleasant listen, I will not be revisiting 6/10
noise rock has to be special for it to do anything for me 3/10
yes. this was good. i liked it 8/10
an great live album 7/10
i don't like hard rock, i enjoyed the first two tracks 4/10
The Worst Band In The World is an amazing song, and I think Workinonit by J Dilla samples it and makes it even better. That is the highlight track for me, and aside from Somewhere in Hollywood, none of the other tracks stand out, but it was an overall nice experience. 7/10
Merengue is a really strong track. but oh my god the rest is so incoherent. i like good plunderphonics and this is not an example of that. Duck for the oyster is one of the worst songs I've had to hear this year. 3/10
don't get me wrong, this is a really nice-sounding album, I just feel like it could give me more. nothing felt too groundbreaking or exciting, but a very nice listen 7/10
Not a massive fan of this compared to other post-punk albums, the whole thing sounds like a poorly mixed live album. Also, a band comprised of only white members having the n-word in one of their songs? No. 3/10
I thought it was a pretty average R&B album, still enjoyed it 7/10
Great jazz, no complaints, but not blown away 8/10
Looking for a kiss was bad, kissy noises RUINED it. Otherwise a boring punk album
meh, not even one of the better u2 albums
Gotta get up is simply an amazing song. I also like Jump Into The Fire, it was in the shaun white snowboarding wii game soundtrack and was FIRE. Coconut is terrible. Otherwise an average sounding album 7/10
I really liked "A girl like you" and "How can I be sure" It's a very nice and simple pop record 7/10
I know a lot of people like this album but it just isn't for me I suppose. Perhaps some of PJ Harvey's widely loved albums will make me feel differently, and I will check them out to confirm. For now I am just left disappointed by an album that I had higher expectations for. 6/10
I wish I could say I loved this record like I've seen other people love it, but something about this album and The Velvet Underground & Nico make me feel guilty for not enjoying them as much as others do. By no means do I dislike either album, but I'm just struggling to see what makes other people value them so highly. Favorite tracks: Sad Song, Men of Good Fortune 6/10
yeah it was okay it didn't make me feel much. sounded alright 6/10
Okay this is by far my most controversial take (I think), but I didn't like this. I didn't dislike it but it felt very average. And the UK version doesn't even have Paint It, Black. I know that's the accessible pick but it's famous for a reason. 5/10
typically when I hear 90s rap I'm not a huge fan. but this one did it for me. I thought it was great and some nice casual listening. I might have to revisit more 90s rap with a different perspective 8/10
dragged on a bit. I enjoyed the first song. 5/10
Intriguing and energetic! What an exciting album. Some songs I don't love but wow this was fun 7/10
It is a good pop album, that's it, nothing really special about it Favorite track: Long Promised Road 7/10
This is a timeless rock record, and in my opinion, it is a greater record than Dark Side of the Moon. The album sounds flawless and absolutely deserves every bit of praise it gets. 10/10
a lot of this album dragged on. i enjoyed the sound of it but it got pretty monotonous after the halfway point
Obviously one of the greatest pop albums of all time, and an essential listen. The best song on this album has to be Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God), and perhaps it is the greatest pop song ever. I find that the rest of the album doesn't live up to the astounding high point of the first track, but the rest does still feel like a great pop album. Favorite songs: Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God), Under Ice, Cloudbusting, Hello Earth 8/10
I love Steely Dan, and pretzel logic is a great album, I don't think it's in my top 3 for them though (that just shows how good their other stuff is) 8/10
It was just okay. Absolutely nothing special for me 6/10
pretty boring, and I don't love her voice, but I appreciate the music
