Unappealing Indie Stadium Rock.
Hard to enjoy knowing who made it, but godamn it do bop.
This is the kind of music guys wearing wife beaters love to blast on their blutooth speaker while disc golfing. This album somehow smells like cigarettes.
Awesome album that I have never heard before. Really good vibes on first listen and want to listen to it more. Success!
Was enjoying the novelty factor in the beginning but then Elton Osbourne began to overstay his welcome and the song lengths started to become a crude slap to the face.
I had this as a cd in middle school so it got quite a lot of playtime, and I have always really liked it. Some of the more cliche white guy bluesy songs keep me from giving it a 5
Probably my favorite Ye. Devil in a dress bops mega hard, and has always been in my list of fave jams. But yeah, oi vay listening to his albums doesn’t feel too kosher anymore.
Pretty cool vibes but definitely felt like background music
Pet Sounds is a 5 for me, but I have always been apprehensive on other Beach Boys albums. This one started off pretty lackluster with some cornball tracks, but it did shine its soul(Brian Wilson) on the second half and started going hard on "Feel Flows" onward. I listened to this back-half thrice cuz it bopped. If it was just the last 5 songs it would be getting a 5, but alas I cannot ignore the stank of the first half.
How bout “No Boyeee”.
Yep, this was Christmas music alright
Really relaxing and wholesome album. Can’t say there was a song I didn’t enjoy.
It was fine, but did I love it? I DidKnot
Pretty dorky album. I really enjoy this era of hiphop, and after Tribe Called Quest came on as a suggestion after the album was over I realized how inferior this album was.
As 90s and as British as you can get.
Have been looking for an excuse to listen to this album for a really long time, but it sort of failed to live up to my expectations of it. Lot of “Journey/Foreigner” vibes that I can’t really get on board with. Really loved all of the instrumentation though, and the last track was an undeniable banger.
Loved it middle school, don't vibe with it in middle age
One of the weirdest things I have ever listened to. It was like National Music mixed with 80s Rock, and the singer was from a Frogcore Metal Band.
I do not care for the Smiths. Good thing there are only 9 albums in this list of 1001 that are either the smiths or morrisey...
I feel like this album is good if you are the girlfriend of Coldplay or think that you might be able to be.
Not my cup of tea. Some of these songs might work as music for breaking bad though.
Just all around a good album from start to finish. Love the lyrics and delivery by Michael Stipe.
At first I thought this was gonna be some generic dad rock, and then I was proved right as I listened to it more. Had some nice moments though, would not be upset if they were playing this at a 65th birthday party
I’m conflicted on this album because I didn’t particularly like it but I understood it’s merit. Had a cool haunting jazz vibe but I just don’t think it’s something I’d ever consistently want to jam.
This is what happens when you type in “music” into an ai music generator.
This had some amazing trippy moments and was a really cool album to listen to. That said, I don’t ever really see myself putting it on to jam to, because it was rather weird. I could see this growing on me with more listens.
Makes me wanna quit my 9 to 5 and get LOST IN MUSIC. Hella romantic and sweet and got my toe tappin and my shoulders loose.
Too much sitar. This album is relentless sitar.
This was a super impressive album. Loved the wide journey of different vibes it would take you on. Had some excellent Breath of the Wild Vibes.
Coming down from the high of the Köln Concert, this was a garbo follow-up act. Every song sounded exactly the same
This dude don’t miss. This had a pretty big sound but also brought the funk. Had my head bobbin the whole time.
Was really loving the first few songs and got excited, but then was mega let down by every song after my generation.
Seems pretty overated, or maybe I am missing something. Seems like it may grow on you with multiple listens. But the glory escaped me.
