PrincePretty awesome. Love the funky guitars. Some of it is a little too sexual at times, but the synths and drum kits used prove to be influencial even to this day with the resurgence of 80s pop style. Prince was an icon for a reason.

Solid album, very chill. Listened to it while running errands. Love the guitar and calming vocals.
Very conceptual stuff. A lot of the time I thought there was just experimental stuff for the sake of it.
Issa christmas album.
Felt a little repetitive, but still good enough of a listen. Probably wouldn't revisit except for the classics.
Electronica abstract with some sampling of New York's Finest... or not finest idk.
Really good. Organ is very distinctly Doors. Jim Morrison has a very distinct voice, and it echoes on this album. 4.5/5 but could very well be 5/5 after more listens.
Down to relisten.
Spanish jazz. Amazing singing. Well done.
SMACK MY BITCH UP
Its so easy to laugh, so easy to hate, it takes guts to be gentle and kind.
A lot more electric than expected from such a later album in the band's career.
This is hipster music before hipster music was a thing.
Sounds like foo fighters before foo fighters existed. Meh
Fun, rockabilly style with some garage rock. Vocalist Lux Interior (RIP) has a very unique sound. Including this with monster-filled lyricism makes for a fun and weird album.
Like if the movie the Labyrinth was an album.
Vedder vocals are the epitome of 90s rock/alternative. Guitarist Mike McCready really pulls some awesome riffs and solos throughout the album. All in all decent listen.
good storytelling, Elton John is a wizard.
Western African music was different, but a nice change of pace. Ali is a great guitarist. Ai Du is an awesome track.
Cool album. Reminds me of Ten, but a little more raw/hardcore? I can hear Turnstile gaining some form of inspiration from this album when they made "Glow On". 7/10
Old school RHCP. This album has great licks from both Flea and John, and the result is an album that truly defined the RHCP funky rock sound. Some of it can be repetitive, but there are classics on this album that to this day are played by cover bands and karaoke rooms alike.
Beastie Boys are very influential and are still considered one of the best hip-hop groups of all time. On the New Style, wtf did he sayyyyyy "like Jimmy Paige, the girlies that I like are underaged...". The beastie boys' drum kits are so funny, it's just so late 80s hip-hop. hahaha these guys are wild, they almost called this album "Dont be a Fa**ot" lmfao what the
James Murphy kind of sounds like Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand on a few tracks. I feel like this album is like combining Talking Heads with Daft Punk. Instrumentally, fun album with really good percussion and synth.
We flawless
Kind of a lot of acoustic, where the album is cohesive but also leaves me wanting something to change at some point. I did actually like the extended songs more than the base album.
Easy listening. Really enjoy this album for its laid back vibe and seamless transitions between tracks. Extremely well done acoustic guitar melodies.
Not what I was expecting, but I only knew "My Girl" beforehand. A lot more soul and funk was included, and I found myself enjoying all 33:33
Better than I expected. Definitely gets monotonous at times, but regardless is a very palatable album from a band that is not talked about enough in the genre of Synth Pop. "Get Carter" is such an unnecessary track. -1 for that track alone.
Consistently solid album. Bob Marley holds a special place in my heart, and both instrumentally and lyrically this album is transcendent.
Atmospheric Brit Pop reminiscent of the Smiths.
80s rnb with smooth percussion and strong bass with subtle moments of guitar and a nice saxophone in between. I enjoyed it, but it is not something I would go back to often.
Electronica with some rock mixed in between at times. Feels very late 90s. I did enjoy a few tracks, but the album is very long and it just feels like Moby threw all of the tracks he made at the time into an album with no rhyme or reason.
Really cool story. Really awesome piano playing.
One of the best albums ever. Amazing jazz instrumentation, lyricism, and cohesion in the album. A story is told, and Kendrick Lamar has established himself as one of if not the greatest rappers of all time.
