Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Dec 19 2022

Starts with some bangers but by the end was over it. Ends flat for me.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Dec 20 2022

Okay I thought I hated The Smiths at first. But then grew to like them a bit. But the first impression stuck. Overall I found the album mostly meh but sound good songs at the end.

Eagles by Eagles
Sep 30 2024

Okay starts off with some solid country rock. Some initial just hell yea classic rock vibes. But the album goes on I get why people hate the Eagles. Whatever juice it had to start is gone by the end.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Oct 01 2024

This is why I’m doing this project. Absolutely love this album. Genre fluid - could have came from anytime. Found a new artist I love.

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Oct 03 2024

Beep booping German robots back in the 70s. Crazy to hear the now familiar techno synth and realize where it has come from.

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Oct 04 2024

Cozy comforting great vibes. Some great classic folk. Feels like early fleetwood

Graceland by Paul Simon
Oct 07 2024

Man. This ain’t it.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Oct 08 2024

Moody 90s indie. I enjoyed it. Teenage me would have loved it.

Queen Of Denmark by John Grant
Oct 09 2024

Really great sound. Some clever lyrics but unfortunately I’m listening while working so I’m sure it’s worth really digging into. But overall enjoyed it.

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Oct 10 2024

Absolutely blast of a punk rock album. Never takes itself too seriously and is just a fun awesome fuck yeah type of listen. 4.5 for sure.

Dig Your Own Hole by The Chemical Brothers
Oct 11 2024

Felt like I was on speed in a shitty euro night club. Hell yea.

Heroes by David Bowie
Nov 01 2024

Knowing the hits but not the albums it was fun to dive in. I enjoyed it. Interesting concept of first half traditional rock songs and second half instrumentals. I enjoyed them. Did it blow me away. No. But that’s fine. 3.5

Parachutes by Coldplay
Nov 04 2024

I do not consider myself a Coldplay fan at all. I was a big time hater for most of their career…HOWEVER. I did enjoy this debut album. They’ve evolved into something entirely different but this is a fine listen. Even good at times.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Nov 05 2024

Relaxing artistic vibe. It’s solid.

Rust In Peace by Megadeth
Nov 06 2024

I am not heavy metal but I would love to be a heavy guy. This rips.

Diamond Life by Sade
Nov 07 2024

Sexy jazzy smooth cool ass album. Enjoyed.

Scott 4 by Scott Walker
Nov 08 2024

I was thinking I hated this at first as it sounded as pretentious as a man who names 4 albums after him. But. His deep booming voice, the general sadness of it grew on me. I think it was actually solid maybe.

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Nov 11 2024

Sultans of swing but an album. Complimentary. Moody riffs and solos. Killer debut album.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Nov 12 2024

This album is perfection of 90s. Some true anger and heart put into this. A raw emotion and music just is perfect 90s sound.

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Nov 13 2024

Man what a fun bossa nova album. Just the perfect vibe for driving in a convertible to a beach drink in hand (it’s the 60s it’s fine). What an excellent vibe.

Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou Harris
Nov 14 2024

It’s fine. I knew nothing of her prior and doubt I will ever go out of my way to hear her again. Just not for me. But I still enjoyed it despite itself.

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
Nov 15 2024

A cheesy ass glam rock album. It’s not good. It’s not bad. It’s fun at times but other times it’s just corny. I could have died without it.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Jan 29 2025

Blast of some live afrorock. Always love me some fela.

A Northern Soul by The Verve
Jan 30 2025

I like the Verve. This is bland and uninspired. Absolutely could die without it.

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Jan 31 2025

It’s The Beach Boys as you think they are. I respect them for their time and place but this is just standard Beach Boys.

Synchronicity by The Police
Feb 03 2025

Some solid tracks. Some awful ones (what the fuck song Mother?)
