1001 Albums Summary

One of my favourite albums of all time. I am the resurrection is a classic. Superb.

Takes me straight back to being 13. Great album that stood the test of time, classic pop-punk.

Quite how the classic that is Superstition can be on the same album as You are the Sunshine of my Life is beyond me. There is a reason why only one track is well known - I literally couldn’t finish half of the songs on the album. Disappointing.

Great jazz rock album. I’d not heard it before and will listen again. A pleasant surprise.

Brilliant album, Papa was a Rollin’ Stone is one of the greatest songs of all time. One or two mediocre tracks but all in all great.

Easy to listen to, although Yusuf took himself so seriously that at times he sounded like Jack Black.

A surprise, I’d never even heard of the artist. Interesting fusion of traditional Indian instruments with electrónica and drum and bass. Enjoyable but I wouldn’t necessarily listen again.
