Going into this one, I only knew the biggest songs (Anarchy, God Save the Queen, Pretty Vacant), but was pleasantly surprised. Even though I prefer fellow contemporary The Clash and some of the art-punk (later post-punk leanings) of bands like Wire and Gang Of Four, this was still very solid.
Have never been fully exposed to folk punk / Celtic rock, but not a bad offering.
I’ve listened to this one a few times prior, but it never really clicked. Nothing really stood out again, I like the Young Liars EP from them and Return to Cookie Mountain. Outside of DLZ (which is an incredible song), and a few other tracks (Halfway Home, Golden Age, Love Dog), this one wasn’t too memorable. I will have to re-listen eventually.
I only knew a few of Van Morrison’s hits coming into this one. This was my first time listening to this one, and it didn’t really do much at all for me. Will definitely be going back for future listens in the near future
Love Metallica and Slayer, but wasn’t too familiar with Megadeth. This album is awesome. Riffs are great, drumming is impeccable, this is an awesome thrash record. Will definitely be checking out more of their discography.
This is one of my favorite albums of the 80s. The Replacements made a raw, powerful record here. Tracks like Androgynous, Unsatisfied and Sixteen Blue are incredible songs. Very close to being a 5 but had to settle for a 4 star rating.
A classic album, one I had to go back and listen to since I haven’t listened in years. It still holds up 50+ years later. Jimi’s guitar skills are unmatched. I prefer Are You Experienced? slightly more but this is an awesome album as well.
Was only familiar with the hit singles (Good Times Roll, My Best Friend's Girl, Just What I Needed) going in, but this was a very solid album front to back.
Arcade Fire is one of my favorite bands of the past 20 years. I’d rank Funeral and The Suburbs ahead of this but this is still an incredible album.
Easy 9/10 for me and one I revisit plenty.
AnCo is one of my favorite artists of the last 20 years and as such, MPP is one of my favorite albums of that span too. I prefer a few other AnCo albums (Sung Tongs, Feels, Strawberry Jam), but this album remains incredible.
Don't have to say much about this one. Stone cold classic and kicked off the Beatles legendary late 60s run.
Shockingly, Coldplay actually doesn’t suck that much. I actually enjoyed both Parachutes and A Rush Of Blood To The Head.
Easy 5/5, one of the best albums of the 90s and one of the best rap albums ever. Took the East Coast to a whole new level.
Not as good as Unknown Pleasures, but still damn good in its own right. 24 Hours and Decades are top tear Joy Division/New Order tracks.

Don’t have to say much here. Easy 5/5, one of my favorite albums of all time. From the opening bouncy percussion in 15 Step to the piano led Videotape, this album is flawless.
I love this record. One of my favorites of the 2010s and one I revisit a ton. Songs like “Revival”, “Coronado”, and “Desire Lines” are all fantastic songs.

Had to give it a quick re-listen, but is this album awesome or what? To be fair, I am a giant The Flaming Lips fan (and I'd probably rank Yoshimi slightly higher), but this has to be an easy 5 star for me.
Between Fridmann's production, Drozd's drumming, etc. this album is special. Tracks like "Waiting For Superman" and "Feeling Yourself Disintegrate" hit home hard in today's landscape.
One of my favorites from the 90s and in my opinion, the best Nirvana album.
Albini’s production gives the album such a raw feel compared to Butch Vig’s layered, polished production on Nevermind.
A must listen for any fan of grunge or 90’s culture in general.
Great debut album from Arcade Fire. This is one of my personal favorites of the 2000s, an emotional, grand journey from front to back.
