I need to listen through a few more times. With my first listen, I didn't really enjoy it so I'm hoping I can change my mind in the future. The album itself is, as expected, much more outside the bounds of what you'd find in more mainstream spaces, and that's a good thing. We need more abstract and experimental sounds, and we need more influences beyond Americana. It just didn't have the right shape in my brain initially to mesh well together.

This review is temporary, and I'm only writing it because I want to see the next album.

Horrible to listen to, but historically interesting. I don't even really know how to properly rate this.
