Since I Left You
The AvalanchesThat was a fun ride. “Frontier Psychiatrist” is absolutely infectious. You can tell this act had an influence on a lot of more mainstream acts including Kanye West.

Honestly kind of meh. 2 good songs and a lot of wanky blues rock played by stoners. It may have been cool at the time, but in the years since it’s been done to death. Past it’s expiration date
Every song lands an emotional hit. It doesn’t shred but the instrumentation is great.
Better than expected. Of course there’s the memorable Tiny Dancer to start it off. If there’s a theme here, it’s cast outs and lonely people. Excellent production makes each track a treat to listen to. Still not sure if I’m an Elton John fan, but I can understand why people are.
Interesting transitional album between classic rock, punk, and new wave, but there’s a reason no one remembers this one
A lot of this album slaps—it’s heavy, groovy and self-assured. On the other hand, the singer’s voice will grate your ears a bit, and there’s a few spots where it doesn’t all click. I like it, but you’ll hear better.
This is a rock band at its peak. It’s live; they play loud; there’s a touch of metal, a song about cowboys, ballads, and that one jam you can sing along to. Delightful.
Fun album—it’s cheeky and just a little political. Stick around for “What’s so funny (about peace, love, and understanding)”
Masterclass in composing. Disco rock with orchestral breaks. Every song is snappy.
Great album. Weird without ever being ugly. Emotional without being dumb
Dolly’s voice is a treat. While some of her biggest hits are absent here, you’ve got some great, authentic country songs and a banger: “Here I AM”
Probably not their best. This one is a downer. Good instrumentals brought down by modest production.
Excellent album that actually lives up to its pretentious title. Stevie Wonder is a top-notch musician, and every song is a jam.

Great flow and sick beats. If Guru was a little more charismatic, I’d give it 5 stars.
Chav Macklemore without the benefit of good beats
Probably better if you could hear the lyrics, but the confidence of this band is infectious
Interesting listen. A punky, American counterpoint to the Cure.
Pompous, not as clever as Jim Morrison intended. This is why drugs are a bad idea, kids. Slightly better than LA Woman.
A refreshing mix of African harmonies and blues.
