Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
Mar 07 2023

Ramble is a surprise stand out track. Moby dick is the lone weak link. “Drum Solos are great live, not so much on a cd.” -Chris Whole lotta love is a hell of a way to start an album.

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Mar 08 2023

I’ll be honest only listened to the first 3 songs. Not bad actually. Fun fact she went to school in my district in KCK. Anyway 3 stars because I didn’t finish.

Technique by New Order
Mar 09 2023

Interesting album, but it’s gonna have to be a no for me dog. At first I thought it was a techno group. Definitely an interesting sound. Sounds like this should be playing in an urban outfitters in 2011.

Street Life by The Crusaders
Mar 10 2023

Interesting album. Felt like this is music I would listen to while waiting to see the dentist, but not in a bad way.

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Mar 13 2023

Absolutely fantastic. Love the call and response with him and the saxophone. Also my first quote when I heard the album was “I think this is the guy who sings Pennies from heaven” and it was. Would have given 5 stars, but “a woman is a woman, and man ain’t nothin but a male” could be seen as problematic in 2023.

Eagles by Eagles
Mar 14 2023

I’m very biased on this album, but this is one of if not my favorite Eagles albums and I have no mediocre jokes to make about this one. I mean is there anything better than a little chugging and little hugging? 4.5 stars

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Mar 16 2023

On your mark, ready, set, let's go Dancefloor pro, I know you know I go psycho when my new joint hit (woo) Just can't sit Gotta get jiggy wit' it, ooh, that's it Now honey, honey, come ride DKNY all up in my eye You gotta Prada bag with a lotta stuff in it (uh, uh, uh) Give it to your friend, let's spin Everybody lookin' at me, glancin' the kid Wishin' they was dancin' the jig Here with this handsome kid Ciga-cigar right from Cuba-Cuba I just bite it It's for the look, I don't light it Illway the an-may on the ance-day oor-flay Give it up jiggy, make it feel like foreplay (woo) Yo, my cardio is infinite Ha ha Big Willie style's all in it

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Mar 23 2023

2 hours and 5 minutes? Who does this guy think he is? I did not listen to the whole thing, but I did enjoy The Art Of Dying and I’d have you anytime. I don’t hate it by any means, but I am a fan of more concise albums. Extra star for having the word Pepperoni in the title of a song.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Mar 24 2023

I know who the Gorillaz are but I had never heard this album before. First couple songs were a little too repetitive for me. Clint Eastwood is obvious standout. And yeah the rest of the album is just not for me. However I will give an extra star for the music video for Clint Eastwood. If you haven’t seen it I would recommend giving it a watch.

No Other by Gene Clark
Mar 28 2023

Didn’t hate the vibe, just kind of boring.

Suede by Suede
Mar 29 2023

Somehow the last album was better infinitely better than this one. Just did not really enjoy any of the songs or the vibe. Although Pantomime Horse would make a sweet band name.

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Mar 30 2023

I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. I’ve heard of Queens of the Stone Age, but never really listened. Like my Dad likes to say “extra star for real instruments.”

London Calling by The Clash
Mar 31 2023

4.7 Not much to say about that one.

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Apr 24 2023

Perfection. Not my favorite Springsteen album, but very close. It has risen especially the more I hear the songs live. Atlantic City, Johnny 99, Open all Night, and Reason to Believe are my personal favorites. Any album that blows up the chicken man in Philly is elite in my book.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jan 04 2024

Are you happy? Not sure I was after listening. Sounds like 60s style I’m familiar of but I don’t think I had ever heard of these songs. Pros: not in another language Favorite songs: Only Dreaming Now Nine Pound hammer Old Kentucky Home

Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals
Jan 05 2024

Usually 90s is right up my alley, but this wasn’t it. If you don’t want me to destroy you was my favorite of the album.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Jan 08 2024

If Prius and crips all got a long…we’d probably be a happier society. Absolute classic. Top to bottom. Money Trees is 6 starts. Backstreet freestyle… chefs kiss* Swimming pools when he changes to his inner monologue 🥲 The dominos Just incredible. Still incredibly pissed this album lost to Macklemore for Rap album of the year.

1984 by Van Halen
Jan 09 2024

I love Van Halen.
