Really good listen. I think I first peeped on YouTube, and this was when iTunes was still charging per song. I think you could buy a song for $0.99 or $1.29. Or buy the album for like $15. Ain’t no way I was paying for full albums back then so I only copped the song “heart and soul” which I listened to about a million times. But anyway this was basically a first listen all over again and it was awesome. Great way to start this thing. LFG!
Not the biggest jazz fan. I want to get into it, and I like a particular sound, but I don’t know enough of it yet to figure out what it is. This was aight tho, stand outs were tracks 3-5. Also liked the drum solo on track 7. Also confirmed this is the father of Sal Masekela. Shout out Sal.
Not my cup of tea. Sound kinda grows on you as you listen tho. Favorite track is Indian Summer.
Was never big on rock music, but I can respect the zep. Favorite song of theirs not on this album is D’yer Mak’er. But anyway, not really feeling this one. I lean more towards punk/hardcore. Top track for me is In the Light.
Not my cup of tea.
Not bad. Not my cup of tea, but track 6 all the way thru the end was solid.
I appreciate the poetry, and I like the vocals. I’m into the dark vibes. But usually I need it paired with upbeat Production. Or at least more production than this. Very subdued/minimal which is fine, just need to be in the mood for it.
Can’t do it. Not feeling vocals or sound.
This was tight! More my speed, love the sound. Favorite track is Newboys. Will definitely check out their other albums.
Can’t say I enjoyed this one.

Never liked Metallica. Can’t get into the vocals.
Solid album, esp the first half. Classics. Although I don’t really mess with Coldplay in general, this is them at their best and was definitely a time.
Beck is hit or miss for me. Not a fan of this album. I liked his album Modern Guilt and some of the older stuff…but my biggest thing is the vocals. A bit too monotone for me.
Nahh
Yea, now we talking! Def dabbled with the cure. I like the albums that followed as they were more production heavy and dark, but this was still a good listen. 80s UK pop-punk is awesome.
Yo I’m not even mad at this. Not my vibe but I still enjoyed it.
Not a fan
Timeless sound. I respect it. That being said, it’s a no for me.
Absolute banger. Huge fan of 80s new wave. Weird, quirky, dark, punchy. Can’t say I’ve ever heard this album in its entirety, but I like the Cars and listened to many of these songs. Also they’re pretty popular and heard a bunch in movies and stuff before I knew who they were. Love it.
Not a fan. The closest thing I enjoy are baile and all the different forms of Mexican music. I love those sounds and styles more.
I feel like I’ve heard of the band, but never peeped the music. I read up on their bio and cool to see Brian Eno was a member. I only know his solo career. Dude is a producer legend. I can’t say I like this band tho. I like his albums Here come the warm jets and Taking tiger mountain. Peep if you’re down for some weird trippy sounds.
YES!!! Love talking heads. My second favorite new wave band next to Devo. Favorite album is Remain in light, but this one is up there. I like em all tho. Favorite tracks are Zimbra, mind, cities, animals, drugs. LFG
Can’t get down with this type of content. I can appreciate the instrumentation, but that’s about it.
Only Bjork album I liked was Volta. I can’t really stomach a full bjork album lol. This a no for me.
Boy sound like he needa clear his froat. Only thing I like about Tom Waits is Health Ledger mimicking his whole style for Joker. Look up Tom Waits interview from 1979.
Shout out David Bowie, man - RIP. Favorite album is Let’s Dance. This album is pretty good tho, never peeped the newer stuff but its got some bangers for sure. Fave tracks 3,7,11,12,14. Solid.
Banger. I was actually late on KDot. Only started seriously listening once DAMN dropped. Not a whole lot of filler on here. A lot of the production doesn’t stand the test of time for me, but there’s def a handful of classics on here.
Can’t say I liked this one. I respect it tho. That’s gotta count for something.
Wasn’t feeling this one.
Not a fan of this one. Their Mezzanine album is better tho.
This my first time listening to Bob Dylan. I hear his name all the time, but never gave it a shot lol. Definitely a cool listen. Love the flow-y airy type sound paired with his poetry. Can’t say I like folk music, but I can get down with this.
Not a fan, nor do I like live albums.
Man I’m not mad at this at all. Never heard of them. Cool they did that song “Alright”.
