Van Halen
Van HalenIf you ever want to torture me just play continuous guitar solos with zero backing instruments. The Kinks cover was bad. I really do not like this album.

I don't like Metallica. The more driving parts of the songs were enjoyable, however I now think it should be illegal to have more than two guitar solos in an album.
Childhood nostalgia doing some heavy lifting here, I'm not sure how much I would like it if I listened to it today. Knights of Cydonia still bangs though
I know it was the standard for blues and rock and roll bands at the time for their first album to be mostly covers so it would be harsh to mark down on that. You can tell they are good musicians, but their covers are bland and uninspired. Really just sounds like some random studio musicians got together for this one.
It's fun
It was painful to listen to, the singer is annoying. Any bluesy part of the album felt like a cheap imitation.
Smooth
Thought I didn't know his music but instantly recognised the title track. Loved the album, definitely one I will listen to many more times
Definitely a fun album, Groove is in the Heart is a classic. Not the best for listening in the office for me, but wouldn't mind a few tracks on a clubs playlist
I had it on repeat all day
I love Ella Fitzgerald's voice, but 4 hrs 13 mins is insane for an album
It started and ended strong but the in-between just was not for me
I really don't like the eagles
Ok
