Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jun 28 2023

- rockin! - harder rock than I would typically choose, but I could see a situation where it might work. - Phantom of the Opera is definitely best track (also by far the longest at over 7 minutes!!) - Is this album cover a loose reference to The Scream painting? - yeah, on the last track (Iron Maiden) and definitely ready for this to end.

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jun 29 2023

I like this album. I'd listen to it again. Not sure there are enough distinct songs that would make any of them favorites, but I'm only on track 3. Runaway is my favorite track so far (#7). It would be a good cleaning album. Hysteric is good also, followed by Little Shadow.

This is a little too "old-timey" sounding for my taste. Might be nice for a certain scenario. A cocktail hour or some sort of dance function.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Jul 09 2023

Can't go wrong with Bowie. All time favorite.

The Bends by Radiohead
Jul 11 2023

don't love it as much as I did in 90's and early 2000s but still a solid album

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jul 12 2023

Not really my style, but not terrible. All the interludes were mostly awkward feeling and not funny.

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Jul 13 2023

Really love the way this album starts. Great energy. Didn't keep me engaged as much as it went along. I'd revisit if in a particular mood.

Amnesiac by Radiohead
Jul 28 2023

starts off with some super interesting sounds on Packt in Like Sardines... this album is okay, a little depressing for my taste

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Aug 01 2023

For some reason I can't seem to get through this entire album. Must move on. Perhaps just too much nostalgia.

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers
Aug 02 2023

not loving it at the top...yeah I think I have to give up after song 2. Not my style.

Crazysexycool by TLC
Aug 25 2023

never been a big TLC fan, been putting this one off

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Aug 26 2023

So good. Even better now, with greater appreciation from time. 911 Is A Joke especially impactful for this reason.

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Aug 27 2023

The beginning of this album makes me feel like I'm inside an episode of Stranger Things. I'm intrigued. Not bad for listening to while working or concentraing on other things. Interesting but not distracting.

Aug 29 2023

Enjoyed listening to this album for the first time. I've heard the hits many times but I think it's a solid album. Easy listen.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Aug 30 2023

eh, nothing special.

Play by Moby
Sep 04 2023

Very difficult to listen to. Takes me back to a weird headspace that I'm happy to no longer be in.

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
Sep 05 2023

sweet album cover, classic
