Maybe if I hadn't listened on headphones this could have been tolerable, but the hard panning made me wish I didn't have ears. Why is the bass so horrendous?

Did I hate it? Kind of. At least some of the tracks. But it was also kind of amazing.

The first half of the album is brutally boring, but after you hit Beginning to See the Light, interesting things start happening. Not sure if it's enough to make up for the miserable beginning.

When it's good it's great but there are Ray Charles albums I like better.
