Jazz Samba
Stan Getz
Sultry, very full and well produced.
Although the melodies and harmonies generally aren’t over-the-top complicated or pretentious, they are always interesting and never boring.
This is the sonic equivalent of a nice coffee at a cafe, shaded by a tree from the warm summer sun.
Album cover’s pretty cool too

Fear Of A Black Planet
Public Enemy
Banger of an opening with the instrumental
Focus on the beats and production. Very colorful and juicy. Especially for ‘90. You can definitely see how NWA and public enemy pulled from a lot of the same influences and informed each other as well
Also holy shit. The number of songs on this album is insane. It’s 1hr long and has 20 tracks
another Def Jams banger
Flava flav?
Insightful and creative commentary on being black in America and societies views of blackness. Good samples too

Mothership Connection
Parliament
Classic p funk baby. They’ve got the fake radio station thing going, and the production is so solid.
Lollipop man - the long-haired sucka (genius)
I did find myself bored in a lot of spots. Maybe it’s because I listened to it before, or could only have one earbud in since I’m at work.

Van Halen
Van Halen
Pure unadulterated young man sex energy that delves into schitzo crack addict territory sometimes. In a good way though

I’m sorry honey if i took it just a little too far”

Big Black
Very rough early sounding punk. Noise based back when noise was a statement.
Intense, but not really interesting

Acoustic ramblin type beat. Good stuff but a little repetitive. That’s sort of the nature of this type of music though
