Lou ReedInteresting album, not my cup of tea but some good songs. Always loved Walk on the Wild Side

Love the 90s production, and definitely a handful of bangers. Lyrics are god awful.
It is what it is. A bit of nostalgia from the titular track thanks to too many hours on THPS - but that's all I got out of it.
Masterpiece.
Reminds me of the chronic shirt I used to own which I was not cool enough to pull off. Great album and impeccable distillation of chaotic 90s G-Funk.
Amazing, never heard of them. Always up for unexpected funk.
Absolutely seminal album from one of my favourite bands of all time. Cannot imagine how fresh this must have sounded in 1980, especially a year after Fear of Music.
Good clean fun
Meh. 1 or 2 good songs but ultimately forgettable. Says a lot when the most famous song is boring advert fodder.
Not my favourite EW&F album but still a corker, Shining Star is ridiculous.
Unreal 90s hip hop at its finest.
One of the worst things I've ever heard. Sounds like a 14 year old first attempt at a mixtape.
Surprisingly good and not too cheesy
I feared that my affection for the later Radiohead albums would taint my view of the slightly earlier catalogue, however I forgot how much of a BANGER this is. They can do no wrong. Just is a certified MTV2 classic. Just brilliant.
Just incredible. Two massively influential musicians at their best.
I feel like Amys success has actually been slightly detrimental here. I like the album but having heard half of the tracks 500 times in adverts, tv shows, pubs etc I am finding myself pretty bored throughout most of it. I suspect if I listened back when it came out I would enjoy it a lot more.
sorry but no
It was a fun novelty to hear the album that contains the first song I ever learnt on guitar, as I'm sure it was for many people. Unfortunately the cheese is too much but it has some moments.
Fun, 80s drum heaven. Bit too of its time.
Very good, a few bits of ob la di-esque trite but overall it had solid Beatles energy.
Pretty good, a lot of the songs in the middle section I really like. Still trying to decide if I like the guys voice or not (should probably know his name).
Really nice, a lot more ethereal than I was expecting. Can hear solid foundations for Bitches Brew down the line.
SO WEIRD but in the best way, had absolutely no idea what to expect, and this definitely wasn't it, but loved it.
Better than I thought it would be but still not my vibe.
Crazy funky goodness from the highly influential 70s outfit
Absolute cheese and not good cheese. Like those dairylea cheesestring knock-offs which are shit.
Interesting proto-shoegaze vibes
Surprisingly great, had never thought to listen to them before. Love the more rocky stuff.
Always thought Blondie were overrated and this has only confirmed my suspicions.
Am a huge Fela Kuti fan so naturally loved this. Interesting to hear classic Afrobeat with signature 90s production, and Femi manages to mark his own style on his fathers legacy.
Pretty average but I appreciate how raw it is
Nostalgia bomb of fantastic music
A good album but feels a bit inapropriate to listen to at work or in public
The best. Just the absolute best.
The definitive lesson in Trip-Hop perfection. Has influenced my own work in countless ways and will always have a special place in my heart.
Absolute masterpiece of gritty raw hip-hop. Longtime favourite.
