Dookie by Green Day
Oct 09 2023

Really good stuff, a great number of classics from the Green Day. Cool messages about apathy and hatred for being apathetic.

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Oct 10 2023

Fairly generic rock album. Good for a live album nothing particularly special

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Oct 11 2023

Fantastic album. I always thought thriller was the one to beat, but the king of pop proves why he holds the crown.

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Oct 12 2023

Today I learned I don't care for Bob Dylan. Don't get me wrong, the man can really wail on that harmonica, but something about that voice of his is a bit grating. At least a little too much to listen to an entire album straight. Maybe if I peppered some songs into other playlists.

Station To Station by David Bowie
Oct 13 2023

Who knew Jareth the Goblin King also made incredible music? I thoroughly enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. The album is a whole-ass vibe. It's fun and funky and experimental and just altogether good.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Oct 16 2023

I enjoyed this one a lot! Very vibey and musical. The key changes and tempo changes are really cool. A little melancholy and moody at times, but I mean that's sort of the whole thing. All in all, quite enjoyable.

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Oct 17 2023

Certainly not what I expected, having never heard a single meatloaf song. It is very interesting and operatic, but I did think it overstayed its welcome somewhat. Just like regular meatloaf.

Snivilisation by Orbital
Oct 18 2023

Snivilization was a pretty decent listen. 90s techno that wasn't just a computer voice saying the same phrase for 5.5 minutes straight. Lots of interesting tunes. The bears were good. These guys sound like they would have made incredible video game soundtracks if they started making music like 20 years later.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Oct 19 2023

Sick flute solos

In Utero by Nirvana
Oct 23 2023

I want to like Nirvana, I really do, but they make it so hard. They've got a few good bops but then Kurt Cobain just yells at me for a while

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Oct 24 2023
Signing Off by UB40
Oct 25 2023

Important, but not good.

Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Oct 27 2023
The Bends by Radiohead
Oct 30 2023

Really liked it!

Murmur by R.E.M.
Oct 31 2023
Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Nov 01 2023

Ten times better than whatever random noises aphex twin is putting together and calling music, which, unfortunately, still makes it experimental stuff not for me.

Nov 03 2023

This was not what I would call "easy listening". In fact I would say it was barely listenable at all. It was really close to being super good. It would have been if it was just any amount of pleasant for the ears.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Nov 06 2023

Lots of great songs on here, but a little difficult to listen to back to back.

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Nov 07 2023

It's nothing wrong with Dolly, I just have a strong aversion to country.

Tical by Method Man
Nov 08 2023

Pretty good, even though not my usual cup of tea. And here I thought the Wu Tang Clan was some sort of traveling kung fu group.

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Nov 09 2023

This was a really good rock album! The Doors are maybe slightly underrated.

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Nov 10 2023

I enjoyed this. Kinda off the wall and fun. The playlist generated from the album was also amazing.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Nov 13 2023

It didn't make me want to put a screwdriver in my ear, but I really had to force myself to finish this one. I'm sure it's great in some circles, but I don't belong to any of them.

Different Class by Pulp
Nov 14 2023

Really good album, thoroughly enjoyed this one. Had a sort of pop punk vibey wave sound I liked a lot. I ended up checking out more of Pulp's stuff.

Suede by Suede
Nov 16 2023

This was fine. Good not great.

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Nov 17 2023

I like jack white as it turns out.

Ten by Pearl Jam
Nov 20 2023

Good album!

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Nov 21 2023

Pretty good

Sound Affects by The Jam
May 21 2026

Thoroughly enjoyed this. I'm finding out that I'm into post punk. Whatever that is.
