Tidal by Fiona Apple
Oct 09 2023

Amazing album. The singles are fantastic and there are some surprises in First Taste and others.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Oct 10 2023

Fantastic with an amazing title track.

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Oct 16 2023

Excellent album from a consummate artist. Hoochie Coochie Man was a highlight.

Oct 17 2023

Amazing debut from absolute icons. Just about every track hits hard. Can I Kick It, Luck of Lucien, Bonita Applebaum are all instant classics. Also highlights are Left My Wallet in El Segundo, After Hours and Ham n' Eggs.

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Oct 18 2023

Love her voice and some songs hit but most fall short.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Oct 19 2023

Classic album. Lots to love here.

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Oct 20 2023
Blur by Blur
Oct 23 2023

Song 2 is great but Damon Albarn is much better suited in Gorillaz.

GREY Area by Little Simz
Oct 24 2023

Great grime record with fun African sensibilities.

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Oct 26 2023

An absolute classic of an album. This one is more raw than later releases but showcases so much amazing songcraft, heavy grooves and the finest playing of any band of the time.

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Nov 01 2023

Great countryish folk-rock.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Nov 02 2023

A heavy hitting, dark album from the underground kings of grunge.

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Nov 03 2023

I can see hints of an electro-pop Haim. I'm all for it!

Peter Gabriel 3 by Peter Gabriel
Nov 06 2023

The influence on popular music after this is apparent but most of this album falls flat.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Nov 07 2023

Not bad but not my jam.

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Nov 09 2023

A surprise delight. Not really my thing but not bad.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Nov 10 2023

A solid album that's considered a classic, though I wouldn't grant it that status, necessarily. There's heaps of great songs but it just sounds overproduced, overplayed and overhyped.

Dry by PJ Harvey
Nov 15 2023

A great, raw early record from Harvey. Shows a lot of potential and guts.
