Strong 3.5, enjoyed much more than i thought.

I'd say in reality it's a 4-4.5 so am being positive with the rating. Springsteen holds a lot of nostalgia for me and his song writing and expression strikes a chord that elevates his music a great deal. Racing in the Street is a particular highlight but not a bad song on the album.

Some real classics on this album but it's so bloated by so much other random stuff it makes it a difficult listen.

Couple of half decent song but kind of just meanders along without really doing anything. Not bad music but does nothing for me.

Perfectly decent music but feels overlong, samey lacking in standout moments. The Weight is the clear highlight. 2-2.5

Not listened to King Crimson before but this doesn't really do anything for me at all, which is surprising because going in I was quite excited to try them.

3.5, would probably go up to 4 with further listens. Very intricate album with much more coherence than a lot of the older prog rock i've heard. First song is clear highlight for me

3.5, Good solid album, very repetitive but enjoyable to blast through nonetheless. Another one of those where if you look in terms of significance of the album, has to be a 5/5, but shows its age quite severely nowadays.

3.5-4: Similar vibe to the Ramones album but with a bit more to it, some duds later on can't spoil it. Enjoyed more than i expected

3.5 Enjoyable album, tracks melded together a bit but overall very enjoyable if you want something of a lower pace and bit of a melancholy vibe. Wandering Star the standout.

One of the easiest 5/5 i'll ever give. Every song is top drawer. All time classic.
