Great and full of energy!
First time listening to Jimi Hendrix, and found this album interesting. It's quite clear why he's known as the best guitarist of all time!
It was okay. The 10-min song dragged and lots of the lyrics were just very repetitive.
Good album, immediately thought of old black and white films while listening to it.
Really liked this. Reminded me a bit of Mogwai & Arab Strap with the talking rather than singing, and bleak tone which I quite like.
Quite liked this even though it didn't leave a huge impression on me.
Liked the jazzier influences towards the end of the album.
High energy and a lot of fun with great riffs. Great debut!
Not my style of music but it was interesting.
Really like Elvis Costello's voice! Some of the songs on here are really great, very enjoyable!
Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected. The development in the longer songs is really interesting.
This was very fun! Loved the experimentation and the loud/in-your-face/cool girl vibes. Can't believe M.I.A is the same age as my mum...
Not bad, just didn't blow me away.
Sonically, this is right up my street and very interesting to listen to. Didn't love the vocals as much but I think they might grow on me.
Loved this! So creative and the sound feels so new for its time. The three instrumentals in the second half are brilliant. Completely forgot that the album is partly used as a soundtrack in Christiane F, so that was a nice little reminder too.
Enjoyed this more than I was expecting, will definitely have to re-listen to it in the future.
I accidentally mistook The Chemical Brothers for My Chemical Romance, so I was a bit surprised to hear rave music from the first track. But I like it. Also, learned about big beats so I've literally just realised that this is the music that Jez and Super Hans are trying to make!
Quite average, didn't wow me but still decent.
It's fine. I think the songs are interesting but they just don't hold my attention the whole way through.
This was my first Joni Mitchell album and I found it and her voice really relaxing to listen to, especially loved Song for Sharon.
Ooh I liked this!! Since I've Been Loving You is amazing, and the other song that stood out to me on an early listen was Tangerine. Great album!
Pretty good overall. The riffs are so great!
Consistently good, but maybe because the songs are so similar, they all blend in and I can't really tell them apart.
It's pretty good, but some songs feel like they drag on a bit. Love her voice though!
