She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper

And you say, "Well, who can you trust?" I'll tell you, it's just nobody else, it's money the instrumental arrangements feels kinda boring to me tho, just a kick snare kick snare thing going on for all the songs but her voice has got a really distinctive personality

it’s a performance in a prison. music resonate with people in the jail a lot, everyone was really just having fun and laughing and enjoying a slight bit of humour in the strict life of prison really achieved one of the the purpose of music or performing, it’s to bring people together and make them feel easier about life and stuff

Sounds like something that plays in the background of a romance movie taking place in the 80s. Specifically a scene where the girl chats with the boy in front of a carousel at night.

Thriller by Michael Jackson

great groove, to the very last vowel in a line of the lyrics, he places the timing very well he knows when exactly, which millisecond to utter (or stop uttering a word), and the instrumental as well, so good "just remember to always think twice" melodically so good

this man is the embodiment of that "lyrics dark music happy bus ride" picture. and the one side good one side bad weather picture. not just because it has music-lyric contradiction, but the whole style is that same artstyle. everything means nothing to me became instant favorite. piano-as-main-instrument's the best there's also a pinch of bill wurtz in it
