At Newport 1960
Muddy WatersGreat live live blues album.
Great live live blues album.
Couldn't get past the first three tracks. Not for me. I find it difficult to believe how popular this woman is.
Interesting to listen to this again, the young Bob in quite a raw state.
I've not listened to them for years, a mixture of funk, metal, , jazz, hip hop. Good stuff. I must go and find their other albums, I had a few of them years ago on cassette.
When we were much younger having gone back to somebody's house after the pub this was one of the albums we played. You hear Hotel California on the radio still but it is a long time since I listened to the whole thing. Still love it.
The band sounds like they are all having a really good time.
Great album for late night listening with a glass of wine.
I like this album much more today than I did 20 years ago, perhaps its gloomy tones more reflect my mental attitude today. it sounds like a complete album from start to finish and not something that has been put together patchily. I think I need to listen to it again.
A decent rock album but I have to confess I've never been a fan of Def Leopard, listening to them again after all these years has nothing to convince me otherwise. They just seem to lack "something".
I’ve never listened to a complete Ryan Adams album before, I knew the name but I didn’t know much about him. It’s pleasant enough, it has a similar feel to some Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison songs, which is not a bad thing because I like all them.
One of the first cassettes that I ever bought. Still one of my favourite albums of all time. If you're looking for a good blues/rock song then Since I've Been Loving You has to be one of the best. Has to be one of the best top 10 albums of all time.
The guy can sing but R&B doesn't do much for me. It has the same sound on many of the tracks and just reminds me why I don't like R&B.
I used to listen to bands like The Waterboys, Silly Wizard and Planxty a lot in my youth. I'd forgotten just how much I enjoyed them all. Really enjoyed listening to them again.
I know he has a cult following but I've never been a fan, it's years since I listened to him but listening to him again my opinion hasn't changed. Not for me.
When you listen to the lyrics nothing has really changed since the 1970s. I enjoyed listening to this again, he doesn't get the recognition that he deserves.
I like Leonard Cohen much more now than I did in my youth. Late night and a bottle of red wine listening for me.
No not for me. Does anyone like this?
Loved this, an album you have to really listen to more than once and listen to each member of the band.
Sandy Denny had such a beautiful voice, I can still remember how shocked I was to read of her death. Such a loss. Great album, easy to listen to at any time of the day or night.
Such a beautiful, beautiful album. Her voice and lyrics just defined that decade. She is a timeless musician, 50 years later and she still sounds like she recorded it yesterday. Sadly I can only give it 5 stars.
