1001 Albums Summary

My first review in my 1001 albums, so I’m going mid ground to calibrate my ratings. Great album - I did listen while working so it became upbeat background music.

Not a fan of this one. Isn’t even good background music.

Excellence throughout.

Very good listen. A mix of a long progressive opus and shorter rock radio oriented tracks.

Of course a classic. I have heard many of the tracks but never listened to full album. Joni + guitar or piano. Distinct vocal. Lyrical storytelling. Candidly - listening to the tracks individually is better than all in a row.

Never heard of this band. I liked it. The 80s new wave vibe without synths or melodrama.

2PAC is a legend. I do not listen to much hip hop or rap but I appreciate it. This album feels like it has a heavy Dr Dre influence.

Ugh. Too psychedelic and unstructured for my taste.
