1001 Albums Summary

A couple classics that of course I've listened to, a few new ones I hadn't heard, and even some Steely Dan with strings as well. This is a fantastic album.

Very enjoyable, i knew 80% of the songs but not the whole album. You can pick the year “1970” pretty easily but that’s not necessarily a bad feature for these beautiful pieces of music. “…there were times i took some solace there.”

Would never have listened to this one. Just not my “genre”. Love the beat. Some retro sounding parts too.

A very Beck album. Not as dark and intense as Mutations but playful and thoughtful. You just cannot escape the Serge Gainsbourg reference and musical soundscape on paper tiger. This is a great listen.

Can’t really beat Wilson’s harmonies. Pretty close to church music — good and bad.
