At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jan 07 2024

Jazz with hints of soul and big band. OK for jazz.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Jan 12 2024

Only having listened to a few Beatles songs, this was interesting. Gives me "day at the beach" vibes with it's easy going melody but hard-hitting vocals and percussion. Almost 4/5, but again it's not exactly my taste. 3/5 (would be 3.5 if I could).

Jan 15 2024

4/5. Turn of the millennium indie/psychedelic rock is always a fun genre to listen to while doing some relaxing work or casual exercise. MGMT delivered with this album. Especially with Electric Feel and Kids. Have listened to them occasionally when snowboarding down long, windy slopes. Not an all-time favorite album/band but definitely preferred when vibing.

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jan 17 2024

4/5. Janis is good

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
Jan 18 2024

3/5

Suede by Suede
Jan 19 2024

Some good songs (Animal Lover), but the psychedelic ambience didn't do it for me. 2/5.

Hotel California by Eagles
Jan 22 2024

Definately a alt-rock vibe. Can enjoy on a lazy afternoon. 4/5.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Jan 23 2024

3/5. Started out as a 2/5, then straight to 4/5 with 'Sing a Simple Song' and 'Everyday People', but mellowed to a 3/5. Good for vibing out on the town in the mid-to-late afternoon.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Jan 25 2024

I'm on a highway to hell, and this album will take me there (in a good way). 5/5

Purple Rain by Prince
Jan 29 2024

Had some good songs like 'When Doves Cry', but otherwise average for the list. 3/5.

Guero by Beck
Jan 30 2024

4/5. When you feel sad but also grunge and don’t want to explore it

1999 by Prince
Feb 01 2024

4/5. Better than the last one he did.

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Feb 02 2024

3/5. Liked the gritty, coarse feel. Felt nice.

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Feb 05 2024

A moody, cruise-like album that one can listen to when working outside in a dreary, autumn/spring day. I can see myself listening to this while working on a home project. 4/5.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Feb 09 2024

Not my thing but it's good for what it was. 3/5.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Feb 19 2024

Decent album. Sympathy for the Devil is a banger. 4/5.

Bert Jansch by Bert Jansch
Feb 21 2024

Decent folk for snowboarding to 3/5.
