A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Jan 10 2024

The softer, slower cuts are ok. Could not get through the entire album

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jan 11 2024

Wanna be Dave Matthews Band. Sound like they should be playing weekends at some local bar. Lead singer's voice is quite annoying!

21 by Adele
Jan 12 2024

Her hits are hits for a reason. Good songs. Can't be bothered with the rest

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Jan 14 2024

The bass hits nicely, but that's all I have to say about that! TRASH

Jan 15 2024

The Cisco Kid is probably a top 50 song for me. The rest of the album goes a little sideways. Seems very South American drum beat heavy, which I don't mind, but their sound just didn't hold my interest. Album art is on point. Solid 3.5⭐

Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Jan 17 2024

Did not listen. Album cover turned me off immediately! 0⭐

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Jan 18 2024

Trash. 0⭐

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Jan 19 2024

0.5⭐ when the first song is 20 minutes long, with a 3 minute intro before the lyrics start, I'm not enduring the entire album. Sound like a drug era Beatles trying to produce a cinematic opera like the Who or something! Not good

Tommy by The Who
Jan 20 2024

Did not listen. Not a Who fan. I like behind blue eyes and pinball wizard and that's about it 1⭐

Back At The Chicken Shack by Jimmy Smith
Jan 21 2024

3.5⭐. Not bad. Good for background noise while throwing darts in the sunroom late at night

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jan 22 2024

The Message was one of the first rap songs I ever heard, and it was definitely a contributing factor to me digging this new form of music back in the day! Flash is the DJ all others were measured against, and the Adventures of Flash may sound quite remedial today, but when it came out, was cutting edge (no pun intended)

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Jan 23 2024

Take Five is in my personal Top20. I believe this album is considered by many, who have a vast wealth of musical knowledge, to be one of the best jazz records of all-time!

Tank Battles by Dagmar Krause
Jan 24 2024

Did not listen. Wasn't on Spotify. Don't think you should be classified as MUST LISTEN if you're not even on any popular streaming service🙄👎 0⭐

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Jan 25 2024

Late 70's British Pop, no thanks.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jan 27 2024

Feel like they were caught in between Sabbath and Metallica. I like the riffs. Real high energy, but the vocals seem a little light, compared to the heavy guitar. Never could get into them, but this album wasn't too bad.

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Jan 28 2024

Classic 50s rock n roll. I'm old enough to have listened to enough of this. Gotta give it 4⭐ for it's genre

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Jan 29 2024

Not the album from him I would've selected as just listen?! Some good grooves and beats that have been sampled plenty.

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Jan 30 2024

Not an awful album. Willie actually didn't do too badly on this collection of covers. Think I would've pick an album full of his original outlaw country selections if I was choosing a must listen album of Willie Nelson. Solid 3⭐

The Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest
Jan 31 2024

Great album. ATCQ one of the pioneers that help transition hip hop into the new school era. 4.5⭐

Led Zeppelin IV by Led Zeppelin
Feb 01 2024

The best Zeppelin album the isn't the BBC Sessions. 6 of the 8 songs hit! And 3 of their top 5 most listened to songs on Spotify are from this album. My first 5⭐

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Feb 02 2024

South American lounge music isn't too bad. She has a nice voice. Not my cup of tea

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Feb 03 2024

Never could get into Dylan. Always felt he was overrated. Too folksy for me. WAAYYY to much harmonica. We get it dude, you're deft with the jaw harp!

The Specials by The Specials
Feb 08 2024

Another 80s British(it so they sound) post pop (if that's a thing) in the same vain as a group like madness, which I couldn't stand

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Feb 18 2024

GREAT ALBUM! Apache is in my top 5 all-time songs. Trying to find this in LP and 8-track
