Slow for sure but some of these are very solid and it's clear she's talented. Criminal is a banger.
Was solid, some solid keys and sax, pretty weird and spacier than I anticipated but I dug parts of it a lot. Not sure how much I'll actually listen to this going forward though.
Not really my style but I get how other people would enjoy it
This felt like 80% noise, 20% music. Not sure how this could possibly qualify as top anything tbh.
For a metal album, it's actually solid
I enjoyed it for the most part. No songs that I'm over the moon for but generally liked it. Good walkin around music
Liked it for the most part, very consistent album only reason I didn't give it a 4/5 is that I'm not sure I loved any of the songs as much as I just liked most of them. Never heard of em before, cool sound
Aerobics class music? What people in the 90s thought "futuristic" sounded like? Background tracks for an off brand racing video game in a hotel arcade? Some combo of these things. Not my fav
Incredible album all the way through. Consistently excellent piano riffs and lyrics. I laughed, I cried, I questioned why I haven't spent more of my life listening to Tapestry. Carole king is a legend. 5/5
I want to give this a 3.5. Very solid southern rock, not exactly groundbreaking stuff but I enjoyed it. La Grange is a great track and I liked a few others (beer drinkers & hell raisers, Jesus just left Chicago, hot blue & righteous) enough to round up on this one.
Twas okay. Something about this guy's voice bugs me so I couldn't make it through the whole thing. Not really my cup of tea.
Fun album, I don't know if I would listen to it regularly but I definitely get the appeal.
Real weird. I feel like this is the music that plays in movies when somebody has a bad trip. I kinda dug "the sad skinhead" but the album is 90% noise, 10% music in my opinion. It felt like there was potential in some of these songs and then they either took too many drugs or thought too much about it and ruined the idea. Salvaged a 2 but just barely.
A+ album, some light, some heavy, all fun.
Really good album. A few really strong tracks obviously but the other lesser known songs didn't resonate as strongly for me. I would listen to 5 of these songs on repeat and never listen to the others again.
What...is this? Not good. That's what it is. In fact it's bad. Answered my own question.
This sh*t gets me going. I just wanna run like lions and tigers and bears when i hear these songs. I will never stop chooglin Mr fogerty. I salute you.
I think I liked some of it? Idk feels kinda like whiny elevator music but there were some okay spots. Not sure I'll ever listen again tho and I feel fine with that.
Huge fan of this album. Only thing keeping me from 5 stars is the fact that it's hard for me to get thru some of the songs in one go (they get a lil repetitive). But damn bat out of hell, PBTDL, you took the words right out of my mouth, just bangers on bangers here.
This wasn't the worst thing we've gotten but it was bad. Loud and annoying. Really not sure there were any redeeming qualities here.
More like my bloody ears am I right? No thank you.
I really wanted to like this album but I can say with certainty that I did not. Insanely repetitive, not musical, and mostly annoying imo. Sad cuz I do like DP but just wasn't really for me even if it was innovative at the time.
Big fan, reminds me of half of a dozen Martin Scorsese movies (I can hear ray liotta saying "I always wanted to be a gangster" over like any of these songs. Def old timey but maybe I'm just an old timey kinda guy.
I mean it's not really for me but I can dig it. Kept waiting to hear Beatles vocals pop in, there's a reason Ravi is cited as a heavy influence for so many rockers. Prob won't be listening again but interesting for sure.
