Amnesiac
RadioheadI don't understand the obsession with radiohead. They have a few good songs, sure, but I don't think any of them are on this album.

A surprising number of songs I didn't know I knew.
Best album ever? No. Good listening? Yes.
I almost dropped a 5 on this without even listening, given that I've enjoyed this album about a billion times. Then I realized how foolish of a missed opportunity that would be, so I put it on again and guess what? Still a 5.
For the best experience I recommend pairing this album with a gunpowder whiskey.
Solid expectation meeter.
Nice solid live album. No socks blown off, but wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers as long as it brought enough to share.
I'd say this is a nice middle of the road album. No particular wow factor, but pleasant enough to spend an hour with
"Middle-aged suburban dad doing Sunday morning chores" was probably not N.E.R.D.'s target demographic, and yet here we are.
Armageddon is near.
Two songs, 38 minutes. Very nice.
Good, but probably not kill-your-mother-burn-your-house-down good.
Couldn't get into it. Not the worst, but nothing exciting IMHO.
Most of my opinions of Madonna stem from my early exposure to her role in "A League of Their Own" This album, while not my favorite, earns a solid three
Perhaps an unpopular opinion, but this album makes me wish that Spotify had a 2x option like Audible does.
I spent a lot of time at David Byrne's house when I was growing up. We never talked much about the Talking Heads, but if we had I would have told him that I think this album gets progressively better as it goes on, and earns a solid three. Actually come to think of it, it was probably a different David Byrne. Still a pretty cool guy though
Boogie on Reggae Woman; Boogie on Classic Stevie.
I've never heard this album before. I don't know that I will rush out to listen to it again, but I would describe it as decent background music whilst accomplishing household chores.
What a pleasant surprise on a gray February morning. I've never been a Willie super fan, but found this album of mostly (all?) covers to be just lovely
Before today, I could tell you that Deep Purple was a band, and with time could probably name one or maybe even two songs, but not much more. I'll admit I met this album with a muffled sigh. So imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a live album (big fan) and moreso a live album filled with rocking (bigger fan). At one point it even lured my temperamental teenage son from the basement to ask what was up with the awesome drum solos, and I enjoyed his shock when learning it was a recording from over fifty years ago.
I gave this the old college try... Convinced myself to be excited, immediately realized I was right not to be. Participated for approximately 1/8 of the recommended duration before calling it quits, then felt guilty so returned to try again after sufficient time had passed. Concluded life is too short and moved on to more enjoyable pursuits.
Should come with a warning to not operate any heavy machinery while listening to this album.
This album is like a fever dream fueled by pixie sticks and hairspray. It's undeniably catchy, but after a while, the sugar rush wears off and you're left with a bit of a headache. If you're looking for something to wake you up in the morning, this is it. But if you're seeking musical depth, you might want to look elsewhere.
Really insane album, this. Not actually sure if I loved it or hated it. Unlikely I will listen again, but it will occupy a space in my brain forever.
Had the irresistible urge to watch Grosse Pointe Blank this weekend
5/5. All other words are simply platitudes.
"Guys I have a great idea of how to open our album. A 14-minute song that starts with a glockenspiel and then cuts to a nothing but a continuously running power saw. What do you think??!?" "Sure, as long as we then cut directly into some face melting rock." "Brilliant. But when do I get my violin solo?"
Perfect background music for a late night working session, quite enjoyed and will listen again.
If one is being forced to listen to electronic synth-pop, I suppose this is better than many options out there.
Growing up I was always confused by The Verve vs The Verve Pipe. Still not entirely sure I know the difference
As much as I expected to enjoy the song Sex Dwarf, I just couldn't with this album. Although bonus points for the lyric "I think it's time to cook a meal to fill the emptiness I feel" which speaks directly to my soul.
Surprisingly I hated this way less than I thought I was going to. Almost didn't bother with it since it's not on Spotify, but pleased with my decision to track it down.
Great album, brings back nights around the Frederick fire.
Tried with this album, but it couldn't hold my focus
A more appropriate name for this band may have been "No"
All I had to do was complain, and Mr Young came back to spotify. Thank goodness!
I sense this will make its way into regular rotation. Big fan of the enthusiastic cheering/moaning/shouting heard throughout - even more impressive reading the backstory about the shitty piano, late showtime, and unrested state post-travel.
Fascinating to let yourself be absorbed by the narrative of this album. I need to start eating more drugs.
I had a throbbing headache all morning. As soon as this album ended the headache went away. Is it correlation or causation? Was this album the cause or the cure?
"Okay" is about the only adjective I can come up with.
Interesting tone coming from a member of NYPD's special victims unit. Solid beats.
I don't understand the obsession with radiohead. They have a few good songs, sure, but I don't think any of them are on this album.
New to me, now I'm happy my time with it has concluded so this album can be new to somebody else.
I didn't give this the respect it deserved when I was younger. I shall atone for that in my older and wiser years.
