1001 Albums Summary

This a big no for me. My god the vocals are annoying and the guitar noises are just screeching and piercing .

There were a few good songs with “Kicks” and “Melody for an Unknown Girl” my two favorites.

Overall decent but I’m not a fan of the bass sounds throughout the album.

I’m good on the yelling.

A much easier listen than the first couple of albums, but I just am not a fan of the popular vocals of the 60’s and 70’s

Some bangers

Repetition is comedy but unfortunately this isn’t a comedy album.

Some solid songs in the first half.

Nostalgia plays a factor but I’ve listened to a few of these songs quite a bit. Overall a decent album, though I was anti-“Green Day” when this album came out as I was hyper focused on prog metal at the time. Vocals are a bit much for me but pretty catchy overall.

Eh. I gave it an extra star because I can’t separate it from my childhood. But never again will I listen to this album.

I mean…

Wow. Some of these songs are fantastic and others are so boring. I don’t know how to rate.

This album is a lot of the same and it’s almost guaranteed that if you love one song you will love the entire album. Some really good songs, “Crazy Love” and “Into the Mystic.” Overall this album is far better than his 1973 album which seemed to be based on “Glad Tidings,” fucking hate that nonsensical lalalala noise and yelling.

Glad there’s a woman represented, but unfortunately this album is nothing of note.

Dissonant and unexpected. There’s a time I could/can enjoy it but it wasn’t today.

Classic punk. This girl hits a high note pretty frequently, like every song and it makes it all run together. Some may like that. Too much for me

Didn’t have all the songs on the album but decent.

Love the album cover and that’s about it
