Pearl by Janis Joplin
Feb 23 2024

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes-Benz

The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths
Feb 24 2024

I've definitely heard the smiths, but never 'listened' to them. I not surprisingly, really enjoyed the album as a whole; it was a fun listen through. I feel like I can hear how they've influenced certain bands, and though it feels dated, I see why this album made the list.

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Feb 26 2024

This one is definitely mood music. I found it lost me for a minute after Scarborough Fair, but I'm glad I played it through. The songs really are beautiful. Personally, I prefer Sound of Silence but enjoyed the nostalgia

Hotel California by Eagles
Feb 27 2024

I was genuinely shocked to read some of the other reviews on here. This album holds a special place for me, as it was a staple in my father's collection; making it an important part of the soundtrack of my youth. The guitar, the harmonies and the melodies are so familiar and comforting. It definitely drops off near the end for me, but it's certainly earned a spot as one of the most important records in my books.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Mar 02 2024

I had never listened to Fleet Foxes before, but enjoyed it. I find that it's great for background music but sounded all very alike. I'll definitely check out more from them.

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Mar 04 2024

Don't judge a book by its cover - the artwork seems so random after listening to the album 🤷‍♂️ I'm not really into jam bands, but this was somewhat mesmerizing. I was surpirsed and impressed that it was actually live; the quality was great, especially for the time, and you wouldn't even know if it weren't for the crowd at the end of part 2. I enjoyed it more than expected, but it's not something I would actively seek out.

Germfree Adolescents by X-Ray Spex
Mar 08 2024

This is exactly what I was hoping to find with this whole project - an amazing album I haven't heard (of). An absolute gem.

Mar 11 2024

It was a fun album, in a department store kinda way. Where are part 2 and 3 of 'Look of Love'?

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Mar 12 2024

Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Johnny Cash

Suicide by Suicide
Mar 14 2024

At first, I thought It would be a cool ambient vibe but no; just no. I don't know why it's on this list tbh. I powered through but god, 'Frankie Teardrop ' was absolutely awful. This is not for me.

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Mar 23 2024

One of my favorite zeppelin albums - super nostalgic

Groovin' by The Young Rascals
