Odessey And Oracle
The ZombiesBeginning sounds more Beatles-esque than I would've thought. The tight harmonies and piano guiding the rhythm along is very Beatles circa mid 1960s, this is a good thing!

Very folksy, good builds throughout each song.
Such a powerful voice! I hadn't heard past "Respect" and woah she is unreal. "Soul Serenade" stuck out for sure. The whole album is strong and her voice and the backing instrumentals are insane, I liked some of the slower, ballad type songs such as "A Change Is Gonna Come" too!
Didn't resonate with me as much as their other stuff, but still quite good!
Songs were good, each one was shorter than I thought it would be, a quick under 40 min album!
Very mellow, I like how long each song is and that it bleeds into the next!
I like it, definitely Elvis and 1950s inspirations which was unexpected but good. Slower in the middle of the album, also noticed some country and folk elements. Overall, I enjoyed it!
Not what I expected having heard some Dr. Dog before, very 1960s funky. Lots of rhythm and beats, vocals are less decipherable than I expected. I feel like this could've been in some Mad Men scenes
I like it! The electronic music elements are more prominent throughout the album than I would've thought. There are a lot of sounds that are mostly instrumental/electronic which is cool because then the songs each bleed into the next.
Wasn't ready for reggae, I feel like there have been quite a few recently. It's good, but for me each song sounded similar and blended into the next.

Short album today, only 7 songs; love some Neil Young and this album did not disappoint. Classic Neil Young sound, not my all time favorite album of his, but still quite good.
Oh my god he looks so young on this cover, thats my first thought. Also, Breakdown is a phenomenal song, just so good. This album is classic Classic Rock. Also a very short album all things considered, a tight 30 minutes. I liked it in the way that I had expected.
Was not prepared for the Arctic Monkeys this morning but I love it! Honestly don't know if I have listened to anything past 'I Bet That You Look Good on the Dancefloor' and 'Marty Bum.' I forgot just how punk the Arctic Monkeys were in their early days. All in all a very solid album, good to mix it up on this Tuesday!
Literally never heard of this album or band. Very 1980s slow, punk, BritRock style music (a la Joy Division). Don't really like this one, not for me. Couldn't make it through, it also just didn't feel like the vibe for a Wednesday morning
I am stoked about this one. Haven't listened to this album all the way through in a while. This album does in fact hit, solid rock throughout.
Don't know the last time I listened to this album, good to follow RHCP! Very good, obviously strong start with London Calling but some of the other songs are mellower (for the Clash) than I would've thought. Started and ended with the classic Clash sound
