Wild Is The Wind by Nina Simone
Feb 26 2024

I appreciate a beautiful voice when I hear one. Not my go to genre but thoroughly enjoyed the album, especially “four women” and “break down and let it all out” 3/5

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Feb 27 2024

A true masterpiece, no other words needed.

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Feb 28 2024

Another beautiful, iconic voice but I had higher expectations for the album. Some great songs but also some crap 2.5

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Feb 29 2024

Not really for me. Too slow, too homo. 1.5

Odessey And Oracle by The Zombies
Mar 01 2024

I feel like a few of these songs could be in guardians of the galaxy fight scenes. Not a bad album but probably wouldn’t listen to it again.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Mar 04 2024

Beastie boys are a unique group and I can respect the influence they had on the genre (not at first) but there were only a handful of songs I enjoyed. Maybe if I listened again I would rate higher, but for now I give it a 3.

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
Mar 06 2024

I’m very particular when it comes to slower songs/artists but this surprised me, big fan of most tracks and their instrumentals. Still seem to struggle with this rating system with it only being out of 5 so will have to round the high 3 to a 4

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Mar 11 2024

Never listened to the Rolling Stones before and didn’t think I’d be one to like them but this album is great. Will definitely be listening to this again and more of their albums.

Revolver by Beatles
Mar 12 2024

Another massive group I’ve never listened to but I expected a lot better. Some good tracks but some poor and a few sound like nursery rhymes so not sure how it’s so highly rated. Stupid scousers

Disintegration by The Cure
Mar 15 2024

Not for me this. Too slow, weird and gothic for my liking. Couple of songs weren’t half bad. 1.5

All Directions by The Temptations
Mar 18 2024

Not very memorable. Some good songs, some not so good.

Melodrama by Lorde
Mar 19 2024

Not a bad album but I won’t be returning. 2.5

Goo by Sonic Youth
Mar 20 2024

Quite enjoyed this can see myself getting into these after a few more listens. 3.5

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Mar 21 2024

Great voice, great story teller. Maybe he should just read an audiobook

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Mar 25 2024

Very enjoyable album. Didn’t realise I already knew a couple of tracks. I will be returning and listening to more in the future. 3.5

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Mar 26 2024

Liked the first half better than the second. Big fan of the groovy instrumentals. 3.5

Mar 29 2024

Just about made it through the first few song. Albums like this should not be on a list to listen to before you die…unless you want to die of boredom.

Apr 01 2024

Great album. So raw and aggressive. I like the frequent use of the n word but sometimes it’s used too many times, maybe should’ve widened their vocabulary.

Fuzzy by Grant Lee Buffalo
Apr 03 2024

Not half bad. Got into it more and more as the album went on.

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
Apr 04 2024

Really enjoyed the first half so was expecting the rest of the album to live up to that but just didn’t cut it for me

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Apr 05 2024

Great album…..reminds me of childhood memories. One of the albums Trace had on repeat back in the day so always going to enjoy it.

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Apr 09 2024

Good album with great instrumentals. First half could do with a bit more rapping though

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Apr 11 2024

Load of shit. Sort yourself out

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Apr 12 2024

Some good tracks here but most are poor. Don’t get how some of these albums are on this list

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Apr 18 2024

Brilliant album. Would love to see these live. 4.5
