1001 Albums Summary

I appreciate a beautiful voice when I hear one. Not my go to genre but thoroughly enjoyed the album, especially “four women” and “break down and let it all out” 3/5

A true masterpiece, no other words needed.

I feel like a few of these songs could be in guardians of the galaxy fight scenes. Not a bad album but probably wouldn’t listen to it again.

Beastie boys are a unique group and I can respect the influence they had on the genre (not at first) but there were only a handful of songs I enjoyed. Maybe if I listened again I would rate higher, but for now I give it a 3.

I’m very particular when it comes to slower songs/artists but this surprised me, big fan of most tracks and their instrumentals. Still seem to struggle with this rating system with it only being out of 5 so will have to round the high 3 to a 4

Very smooth and calming just not for me

Never listened to the Rolling Stones before and didn’t think I’d be one to like them but this album is great. Will definitely be listening to this again and more of their albums.

Another massive group I’ve never listened to but I expected a lot better. Some good tracks but some poor and a few sound like nursery rhymes so not sure how it’s so highly rated. Stupid scousers

Very enjoyable album. Didn’t realise I already knew a couple of tracks. I will be returning and listening to more in the future. 3.5

Piece of garbage

Just about made it through the first few song. Albums like this should not be on a list to listen to before you die…unless you want to die of boredom.

Great album. So raw and aggressive. I like the frequent use of the n word but sometimes it’s used too many times, maybe should’ve widened their vocabulary.

Not half bad. Got into it more and more as the album went on.

Great album…..reminds me of childhood memories. One of the albums Trace had on repeat back in the day so always going to enjoy it.
