Blue by Joni Mitchell
Apr 08 2024

I enjoy the acoustic and musicianship of Joni - but lyrical can vocally it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 09 2024

Makes me wonder what the allure of this band is. Not a great album imo - struggled to keep my attention

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Apr 12 2024

Winehouse is an amazing vocal talent and the jazz ensemble is fantastic. A lot of the subject matter didn’t register for me but no denying the sound.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Apr 15 2024

I knew of Blondie prior but outside of her hits handnt heard anything of hers. This was a surprisingly good album but not outstanding. I would go a 3.5 if I could.

Green by R.E.M.
Apr 16 2024

Nothing about this album stood out until “Hairshirt” and that only stood out because I thought I was listening to a Hootie song. I never wanted to skip anything - so it gets a rounded up two

Kid A by Radiohead
Apr 19 2024
Apr 22 2024

Honestly: this was an album that I wanted to rate higher based on a few select songs and it's reputation. But upon listening to it for the first time all the way through in order it did not resonate with me. It came through as very staccato-esque to me and not "smooth." A surprise to me that it was not as strong as I would have thought coming into it.

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Apr 23 2024

Two great songs but the rest of the album was nails on chalkboard for me. Couldnt get through this album fast enough to move on.

Apr 24 2024

I have not been doing the album generator for long, but this has been the best album I have listened too so far. Surprising to me given some of the names and bands listed previously, but this was killer.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Apr 26 2024

Thought this was the strongest album i have heard yet - likely because I was not expecting it to be so good.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
May 03 2024

2.65/5. The majority of the songs on this album were background noise to me and didnt stick out. Exceptions were sympathy, Jigsaw Puzzle, factory girl and salt of the earth. Those were great songs. Also the more i listen to Stones albums all the way through, the more I am getting annoyed by Jagger's delivery.

Homework by Daft Punk
May 06 2024

Not good. This album had one good song and the rest I struggled to get through. Rounded up to a two start rating, but in reality is an upper 1 start.

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
May 07 2024

This album was a let down for me. The audio itself was choppy which likely made it hard for me to enjoy. High two star rating.

Reign In Blood by Slayer
May 08 2024

Cant deny the skills of the drummer and the guitarist in this work - they are off the charts. Not my cup of tea - would not listen again. 2 stars for personal preference, but would give a 3 or 4 for the musical skills.

The Stranger by Billy Joel
May 16 2024

First album that I knew in advanced and had listened too. Love almost every song on this list!

The Stooges by The Stooges
May 17 2024

Some great songs and some strange ones. I wouldnt listen again but it was enjoyable.

May 22 2024

This was an interesting album that I just couldnt get into. I didnt hate it - but could not find anything that I thought was a great listen.

What's That Noise? by Coldcut
May 23 2024

This album was a smooth listen that I really enjoyed. Dont think that I would listen to it again, but it was very enjoyable.

Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta
May 24 2024

This was a very strange album for me that I simply could not get into. Not my choice in music, and while I could appreciate and see the musicianship in effect - definitely not an album that I would listen too again or recommend to others.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Jun 03 2024

Perhaps a slightly higher rating given the preceding album, but it was an enjoyable listen

Diamond Life by Sade
Jun 04 2024

Great listen all the way through!

Disintegration by The Cure
Jun 10 2024

Very solid album - not as heavy hitting as I would have thought for a "gothic" band. I enjoyed this as a solid listen - would not be going out of my way to listen again.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Jun 11 2024

I actually have a hard time to rate this album, as it went by extremely fast - which I do not know if it is a good thing or bad thing. Obviously there are some highlight songs, but the others seemed to breeze by.
