Morrison Hotel
The DoorsI'm not a Doors enjoyer but this album was ok! I didn't find any specific songs very memorable but I do like their style/bluesy-ness

surprised i didn't love this since i do enjoy most of their like, big hits. might revisit a few songs off of it
there's obviously a lot of talent on this album but I got kind of bored by the end idk
saving this to my library immediately
I liked this. very mellow. I liked the really subtle use of synth. This was a good choice to listen to at the office in the morning
well I love this but I already knew that. they are well known for a reason
spotify is missing several songs off of this album but it is very up my alley so I will go back and listen to the rest elsewhere.
yayyyy one of the 80 or so I had listened to before starting the 1001 project...a classic! iconic showstopping etc. living for the city alone would be enough for 5 stars
yes I love this album. this is precisely the type of weirdness and fun and joy that's missing from current pop culture. once I played Planet Claire for some of my friends and they hated it so much <3
not really my thing but I didn't hate it, it was still fun to listen to, I liked the storytelling aspect of it a lot!
I only had one song off this album saved when I went to spotify to listen but then hit play and realized I knew this whole album! absolutely something my dad (presumably) put on when I was a kid. I love it I love his voice and I love the use of the saxophone.
ok writing this as I'm listening to song number 2 "brown paper bag" which is supposedly the big hit off this album...hm. I can't say I am enjoying this at all there is no chance I'm going to listen to 2 hours of it. It's both boring and stressful at the same time. sorryyyyy I am just not into this genre at all. I dislike "new forms" and "heroes" less I think because they have words so it's slightly less boring. obviously music doesn't need to have words in it to be good but I think it needs more than just drum machines and bass.
already know this one and it's good.
I really want to love The Band but I just don't. They're fine.
love thissss one of the first CDs I owned
I love this album so much it's so cohesive and there's not a bad track on it
liked this! didn't love the opening song but the album grew on me
I love the ideas here, it's musically so fun and I love the piano and saxophone in this and of course there are some all-time classic songs on this, but tbh I am not that into him. I think it's the vocals they do not really do much for me. Like I want to like him more but I do not. ah well. will continue to scream-sing along to born to run when it comes up on my driving playlist and ignore most of the rest of this album
Enjoyed this, love Joni, but not sure if I love it as much as her earlier stuff, idk if that's controversial or not but I generally prefer late 60s/early 70s for most musicians of this genre and era. I do love that this album has a lot of cool bass lines!
