Franz Ferdinand
Franz FerdinandFun album, not too deep and kinda goofy at times but upbeat and enjoyable. Near peak early 00's Rock. I remember Take Me Out and This Fire from early Madden games.

I wanted to like this album more than I did. Some nasty riffs but honestly just didn't enjoy when Bowie was singing that much.
Oh man I thought this was an auto 1, but actually enjoyed parts of it. I’m going with 2 because I probably won’t come back to this but I was impressed. Just not my vibe.
It was jammin but got a little repetitive for me. 5 songs over an hour
It was fine but didn’t stand out that much to me
Pretty edgy for 1969. I liked it, several songs I would come back to including Gimme Shelter, Let It Bleed, and Can't Always Get What You Want
Yawn, sounds very similar throughout, nothing catching my ear here.
Squeaked out a 3 in the final songs for me. A few good ones but nothing “special”. “…it’s later than you think”
Just fine.
Not it chief. Very bland, gave it two listens and liked it even less the second time.
I can vibe with a little western from time to time. Probably won't go back but it wasn't bad
OG sad boys, lyrics are kinda wild but the music isn't bad. Felt like I was in a Breaking Bad montage
First 5. This album is so fun, the jazzy-hip hop samples flow well, the back and forth raps can pack a punch, and the album as a whole can fit several moods. Pretty influential for 1991.
Some pretty good highs but the lows kinda stunk. Not my jam overall, though I definitely had some of these on playlists in like 05
Honestly had some vibes but some crazy ones in between. Hallelujah was so jarring after the best song on the album
Vaguely enjoyed this, will probably come back to it
A moody listen, could be nice in the right environment. Very minimalist
I'm going to be honest I love Two Weeks but the rest of this album kind of pissed me off. I couldn't even get through it, several skips.
I liked it, but probably won't come back
Absolute banger
This hits when he's actually playing music. I don't get the filler stuff in the second half of the album. I liked this a lot more than Station to Station
Nodding my head saying “hell yeah brother”
Even when he's sad it's mostly bangers
Could have made a Fallout soundtrack, Lonely Country vibes
