1001 Albums Summary

Unexpected moments between melodic harmony. Lots of unconventional madness here, unique, daring lyrics, and a depth of sound that never really lets up. It's quirky, flawed in some ways, but all of it averages to a lively, soulful endeavor that I very much enjoyed listening to.

Quite a sexy album...maybe TOO sexy. The variety of sound is something to behold. Though the album is cohesive, no two songs are really the same.

Very pleasant, easy music that hits in the right places with cutting lyrics and well placed breaks. I'm happy to be introduced to this album as it's not something that I normally listen to. It might be now, though.

Angsty, energetic, makes me feel out of breath after a whole album. Lot's of iconic tunes that seem to have a staying power others in the genre just didn't achieve.

Less rock, and more smooth jazz saxophone than I was expecting. Bowie is still king, but this album didn't hit like I thought it should.

Not my thing, just a bit too mellow and more songs simply fade out than is necessary. Not bad background music, but not an amazing album that I'll go back to
