1001 Albums Summary

What a great album intro! I wasn't all too familiar with The Temptations- I know some of their hits (and love those) but I never checked them out beyond that. I'm glad I got to do that today! So grooooovy Favorite track: 'Why Did She Have To Leave Me'

I wasn't sure how to react when this album popped up. I like Pink Floyd, but God, what a project. They must be referring to the Chinese Wall for how long this album is. That said, I was left feeling a little underwhelmed by it all. I don't want to call it a bad album, because it's not, but it does not quite deliver what it should. There are some really nice songs on here though, and I'm glad I got to give those a listen today. Favorite track: Young Lust

Upon seeing the release date of this album, as well as the cover, I was expecting a plethora of slow whiny country songs but I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't heard of this group before, but this left a good first impression. favorite track: Jemima Surrender

Vibes were good, but it felt a little empty. Did not listen to the full thing because it was a little noisy for my taste. Love the album cover though!

This album is such an experience! I love the touches of orchestral music throughout this work. In combination with the raw sound of the instruments, it's completely my taste. Production wise, I think this is a really well-executed album. side note: buggin' is such a goofy song lmaaoo favorite track: The Spiderbite Song

I don't hate this! It's a bit much to take in, especially if you don't usually listen to similar stuff. However, I can appreciate the artistry. favorite track: Annalisa

Great voice, but the album comes off a little bland / basic for its time. Still a nice listen though :) Favorite track: Been so Long

A bit repetitive… but still fire. Favorite track: Blackened

When you get a Police album, you know exactly what to expect, yet it doesn't bore. They just have such a distinctive sound, which is displayed in a variety of ways on this record.

Chill listen, but it all sounds the same.
