Marquee Moon by Television
Nov 25 2024

Idk what to write here but it was pretty good

Rio by Duran Duran
Nov 26 2024

4.5/5.0; I really like this album. I don’t feel like I’ve ever personally heard anything quite like it. It almost reminds me of Hall and Oates mixed with Oasis if I had to compare it to music I’m familiar with. Will look into more Duran Duran in the future.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Nov 27 2024

Some good songs towards the end but overall I didn’t really like the style/genre and the audio quality was weird and kind of hurt my ears at times.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Nov 28 2024

Only listened to the first 5-6 songs but I just don’t like it. It’s also way too long with both discs (2 hours). Anyway it’s just not my kind of music.

Nov 29 2024

I’ve heard some of the songs before and I’ve already had the title track in my playlist for a while. I also watched the documentary and of course rap is my favorite genre so in all this album wasn’t as new to me as the other ones, but there were still a number of songs I hadn’t heard before. Definitely a great album I enjoyed most of the tracks and my favorite was probably 8 Ball or the title track.

Easiest 5/5 of my life. I wish I could give it a 6. I think this has to be the best first listen to an album I’ve ever had. The first song set my expectations ridiculously high and the rest of the album somehow met and exceeded those expectations. All 11 songs are so good there are no misses and my favorites were Five Years, Moonage Daydream, and Rock N Roll Suicide. Overall absolutely fantastic album and I will be listening to more David Bowie.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Nov 30 2024

Pretty good I don’t have much else to say about it. Kind of reminds me of Mac Demarco

The Only Ones by The Only Ones
Dec 01 2024

Pretty good but once again not much else to say. Reminds me of a sort of mix between Coma Cinema vocals/lyricism and Hoodoo Gurus instrumental.

En-Tact by The Shamen
Dec 02 2024

3.5/5 but I’m leaning 3 here so I don’t oversaturate and inflate my ratings with 4s and 5s. Also a 3 because I will not be adding any of the songs to my playlist simply because of the genre of music. However I will say I was really surprised with how much I enjoyed a techno/electronic/dance album. I can definitely see why people who are into this kind of music would love this album.

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Dec 03 2024

Good album. I enjoy the genre and this was a great embodiment of it. Not much else to say about this one but I liked it.

Vespertine by Björk
Dec 05 2024

I’ve listened to this album before and have most of the songs in my playlist. I still listened to it again though and it’s definitely a good album. Hidden Place is probably up there in my favorite songs ever.

Electric by The Cult
Dec 06 2024

3.5/5 Solid album. Wasn’t paying super close attention to it cause I was doing other stuff while listening to it but I enjoyed it and was never bored which is really good. Pretty basic sound; it’s just classic rock but there’s nothing wrong with that.

Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones
Dec 07 2024

I liked Brown Sugar but the next few songs bored me and I stopped listening. I had planned on coming back and finishing it but the songs I did hear just weren’t good enough to give me the motivation to finish it. Would be a 2 but +1 for Brown Sugar and benefit of the doubt.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dec 08 2024

What does chooglin’ mean?

Drunk by Thundercat
Dec 09 2024

Good but not great. I like some Thundercat songs but I only added a couple off this album.

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Dec 10 2024

Pretty average but enjoyable. Way too long though. This would be a solid 4 if it were 30 minutes shorter.

Hms Fable by Shack
Dec 11 2024

Pretty decent 3.5/5

Paul Simon by Paul Simon
Dec 13 2024

Pretty good. I like Paul Simon.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Dec 14 2024

3.5/5; The first half of the album was just kinda ok. Not bad but nothing special. However the second half really picked up and was more enjoyable. Crown of Love was really good.

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Dec 16 2024

Just good. Not much else to say it’s just an objectively pretty good album.

Low by David Bowie
Dec 17 2024

Pretty good but I would’ve liked more singing. There were a lot of just instrumental tracks toward the end which I wasn’t as big a fan of but they were still good

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Dec 18 2024

I love Curtis Mayfield and I’ve already had this album in my playlists for a long time. However, I still went and re-listened to it and it was honestly a bit better than I remembered. Just a very good album by a great artist in a genre I thoroughly enjoy.

Mar 09 2025

4.4/5: Really good and phenomenal length. Perfect balance of music vs interludes and perfect length for its style. Just a really good female RNB album.

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Mar 10 2025

4.6/5: Definitely a classic. You can hear the influence all throughout the album and there’s a lot of iconic moments. On top of the pop culture relevance it’s just a really really good album. Not sure exactly what you would call it but the synth sounding thing in the intro and other songs is so good. Just a very good album that I should’ve listened to a long time ago.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Mar 11 2025

Pretty good and enjoyable just not very special to me. I enjoyed listening to it once but I don’t feel like I’ll ever need to listen to it again.

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Mar 12 2025

4.2/5: Not much to say about it but it was pretty good

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Mar 13 2025

2.7/5: Never been a big fan of Reggae. I watched the Bob Marley movie in theaters and do quite like some of their songs as well as the whole vibe they got going but the music just feels repetitive to me after a while.

Rain Dogs by Tom Waits
Mar 16 2025

Some of the most unique music I’ve ever heard but that doesn’t make it good.
