Is this the original Taj Mahal????? If so this gets a 5 for that alone. IT IS! TAJ MAHAAAAAAAL TAJIMAHAL! I actually think it's been done better by Takanaka but still this is a great version. Rest of the album is good.

Can't say I've ever listened to Paul Simon more than Call me Al, glad I did. I enjoyed this album a lot. A rare male voice that I really liked. The accordion was a nice touch, gave it a polka-y vibe. The lyrics were fun and light. Dug the African chants That's a ten

This album took me 4 hours to listen through. There are parts of songs I like but no songs I particularily enjoyed. More birtish rock-slop. Spilled a bunch of paint at work to Sylvia. Overall cursed/5

Beautiful Day is always a good song... but Bono is so smugly annoying. He's like a caricature of the "Imagine" video sung by those celebrities back during covid. The rest of the album is still U2 so it's not my thing, although New York was good. Kind of pretentious

This album really grew on me. I can't say it was anything special until Hiding All Away drew me in. The next couple songs were good but then Nature Boy and The Lyre of Orpheus really rose above. I was all in at this point. Babe, You Turn Me On and Spell were the stand-outs in the latter half of the album. It's close to a 5 but some songs were forgettable, but otherwise this album won me over.

This typically would be a 3 from me but because I am listening to this on Sunday morning it gets a 4. This is a Sunday morning album for sure

I enjoyed the instrumentals overall but some songs were too repetitive for me. Overall, I liked it. 3/5

Stillness is the Move 5/5 Weird album overall. A little too chaotic I think for me to really enjoy it. It's like a few songs didn't want to keep a melody for longer than 30 seconds. But I can see this growing on me over time to a 3/5 but only a 2 from me dawg

Lenny Kravitz has the voice of an angel. Except it's a fallen angel. And it's actually Satan. And he sucks as singing. Lenny Kravitz strikes me (and probably his dog) as the kind of guy who sings about love all the time, but also viciously beats his dog or hookers. Album sucks lol bad voice annoying lyrics 1/5

I love Christmas music this is a certified banger. It being the third of January won't stop me from enjoying this.

I've never listened to Bjork so this should be fun... It's kind of weird but I like it. I dig the instrumentals a bunch too. Bjorks voice is unique and depending on the song, haunting in a good way. She reminds me of the voices in Räven by Hedningarna. Solid 4/5

I'll be honest this was mid AF. The mainstream songs were the highlights and the rest of the album was mediocre imo. In the war between MJ and Prince, MJ is the winner for sure. I expected more from Prince.

Chill and beautiful music. Wonderful voice from Dusty. I find that a lot of slower music can get a little stale for me but with the average song being only ~3 minutes long, nothing gets old or repetitive. Didn't expect to find the origin of a sample I've been listening to for 10+ years. Easy 5/5

Pretty fast pased album with good guitar mostly. A little shoegaze-y with Tarpit, but not in a bad way. Solid album

Wasn't really my thing

This was a lot better than Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack. I really enjoyed the song about his car. Ask me about my car dream I had once.

A solid album, I found this one was a little more understated than the others I've heard. It felt subdued in a good way, whereas most of his other stuff felt more flamboyant or boisterous (at least to me)

I like the old beats they had and the off-key pianos they would put in rap. Album was fine

I've always liked Eric Clapton's understated voice, so this was nice to listen to. Nothing crazy good but nice

Maaan this is really nice. Shoegaze that doesn't make me want to fall asleep or put a gun in my mouth. This album DOES make me want to lay in bed all day (in a good way), like I'm just vibing. I really enjoyed this especially Helicopter. Very close to a 5 but there were a few forgettable songs

Really good album. Lovely piano and vocals. Can't say I've listen to Willie Nelson much before but I will probably check more of his stuff out

I think I prefer more subtler jazz than this. This was loud, and frankly often annoying. Still it had good parts for sure

Pretty good album. I enjoyed Morrissey's voice in this one. Death of a Disco Dancer and Unhappy Birthday were my favorites.

Not as bad as the other stuff I've listened to so far. His voice was a little less "Bob Dylan-y" in this one, and there were a few good songs like Tangled Up In Blue, and Meet Me In The Morning. Still it's Bob Dylan, so I can't see me ranking anything of his over a 3. I'm open to being surprised though

First half: Good Second half: annoying

I have pretty much always disliked RHCP and I am sorry to say this album hasn't changed that. There was some good instrumentals here and there but even the best songs have the annoying singer. Whaddayagonnado?

Loved the harmonica in this album and the western vibe. It's like a new-age western sound, not quite pop country, but not quite honkey tonk. I enjoyed this album a lot

He is not okay

Another really good album. I've always liked Jay-Z more than most other rappers so I'm a little biased. No bad songs but the album felt a little long. 4 stars

Close to a 5. I really liked this album. I love her voice, it reminds me of Gwen Stefani a little bit. Especially on Redondo Beach and Birdland. I love a good piano in songs too. I wish it was a little longer actually. The poetry parts I usually find annoying or jarring but she worked them in flawlessly. Great album

Angry teenaged me blasted the first 2 Linkin Park albums religiously. No bad songs on this album, every song a hit, every hit a smack

Oh no he's growing on me. Like a Rolling Stone was a good way to start the album, and Tombstone Blues was a good follow up. The rest of the album didn't quite reach those highs but it was still pretty solid. I take back what I said about not thinking Boby Dylan will ever get a 4. This is still a 3 though.
