PixiesNice punk album. Despite being released 1989, still has a modern and fresh sound.

Unremarkable like a murmur. :/ A mellow album.
A timeless classic You Don't Own Me. But album does get a bit monotonous after a while.
Love Aretha! Amazing powerful vocals. And the album contains energy in the songs. A fun listen.
Yessss!! 50!! I love 50. So many memories with his songs.
Run DMC are legends. It’s tricky and my adidas and walk this way are classics. But 80s rap is not my type of rap.
Didn’t like the album. Did not enjoy the sound of the instruments on the album. Hair Pie was just random sounds to me.
Very chill album. Something I’d like to hear on a beach island. :) Girl from Ipanema is a classic. However the album isn’t dynamic to me.
I only knew “Love Shack” so interesting to hear their other songs. Did not know they had albums from the 1970s! “Rock Lobster” is fun! “Downtown” is like the mellow precursor to “Love Shack”. Also kind of reminds me of Petula Clark’s “Downtown” from 1965.
I feel like I’m listening to a rock opera while listening to this album. 😄 This album is a journey!
Love his sound. This album is THE 80s! Sledgehammer and In Your Eyes are classics!
I love this genre and Louis! Makes me want to dance!
Pearl Jam was one of the bands that defined 90’s grunge music. Brings back memories. But not my preferred style of music. Songs feel sad, or there’s an emotional struggle.
This was the album was how I discovered the White Stripes. Like how it doesn’t sound so “produced”. It has an authentic, raw sound.
Of course know Highway to Hell! However the rest of the album sounds similar to me to appreciate the album as a whole.
Some classics here. Changed the way how DJ mixes can be for me.
Too mellow for me. Interesting that it has medieval or historical sounds to it.
Not a fan of live albums
