Tres Hombres
ZZ TopThe tres hombres definitely have a place in my heart. Red hot coals all through this album.

Solid classic rock album but just too damn overplayed.
Surprised to find myself bopping to the boops here and there. Not impressed overall though.
Beautiful and emotional. Great background music but probably not something I'll go back to anytime soon.
I listened to this shit in high school but I think it was just because I got put onto him and had nothing else to listen to. At the time, I thought a few of the songs were good and to some extent still do but this did not age well for me. I don't know if it's the horns but a lot of sections are just so annoying.
Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. I'm pretty sure there's better work by Neil Young that I intend to listen to.
Tight live performance. You can tell they really cared about putting on a great show, not to mention this is timeless music that was made to be heard in concert.
Yeah, not much to talk about here.
Triumphant, psychedelic and heartfelt. Might be my favorite Sabbath album. I love the juxtaposition of heavy tracks with melodic tunes. Not every song is hard hitting but they were playing with their sound a lot and I'm just a sucker for the lads.
Nice oldies soul. Good performance but just not my cup of tea.
Absolutely beautiful start to finish. Dynamic and yet so digestible. Legendary work.
Y2K nostalgia blast of listening to Sunday morning radio. Sweet and soulful vocals from Ms. Jones accompanied by quality musicianship.
I had a GNR phase growing up but the hits off this are so burnt out. I'm very tired of their sound at this point but the deep cuts were more enjoyable and the album is a good package.
Solid live album from a legend. The songs can be a bit repetitive but the run time doesn't drag.
I'm not big on bowie's vocals but I enjoy stuff like the instrumentation on Warszawa, Art Decade and Subterraneans. Some of the vocals on Subterraneans remind me of some of Maynard James Keenan's vocals which is odd and surprising. I was also surprised by how rocky the album was and thought the structure was thoughtful. Definitely need to revisit this one for a third time and beyond for more understanding.
I couldn't stand this for the most part. The intermittent ramblings in French distracted me from any instrumentation I may have liked otherwise
They really thought they were cookin' when they recorded this. Straight dogshit.
There are some highs and lows to this. Some of the songs are too repetitive but it makes for good background music. I was surprised by how much I was enjoying it by the end.
Solid Beck album but probably not my favorite. His lyrics get a bit redundant but the instrumental experimentation from track to track is ear-grabbing. The tempo is consistent which is good but it's a little too upbeat for my liking.
Such a unique album. It had a pretty big impact on me at the time of release and was great to revisit. What a thoughtful project with some very epic moments.
