Pretenders by Pretenders

This album was surprisingly great. I like their unique sound, which brings so much to each track on the album. Real great stuff.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Jan 11 2025

Great soul, very listenable and smooth. Al Green has such a distinctive voice that really connects well with the song and the listener. Songs can get a bit repetitive, but overall a great listen.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jan 12 2025

Lots of familiar classics heard on this album. Not much my thing, but enjoyable.

The Cars by The Cars
Jan 13 2025

Lots of straight-ahead rock. Not very much my thing, but they executed the songs really well. Some repetitiveness, but overall, a mediocre experience.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Jan 14 2025

This album was surprisingly great. I like their unique sound, which brings so much to each track on the album. Real great stuff.

Shaka Zulu by Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Jan 16 2025

Quite enjoyable

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Jan 18 2025

Singers could not sing on pitch, drums were really random (like a 2 year old played them) every song is a ballad apart from one or 2 songs. I actually ended up skipping some songs because they were predictable and repetitive. The upbeat song consisted of the lead singer trying to belt off their part. It was very repetitive and boring. I can at least say I gave it a chance.

Jan 20 2025

Quite surprised how much I enjoyed this one. I may need to give another listen to properly give certain parts attention. This album gives me a respect for the beatles I didn't have before.

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Jan 22 2025

Not much my type of music. Hear lots of indie and straight-ahead pop influence.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Jan 26 2025

Very nice blend of jazz, country, and folk music. Makes me think of a white Ella Fitzgerald. It is very much of its time, but a great listen.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jan 28 2025

Have grown to really appreciate Curtis Mayfield. Love this.

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jan 30 2025
John Prine by John Prine
Jan 31 2025

I'm surprise how much I enjoyed this! I do not typically listen to country music, but I like how laid back and listenable this is.

21 by Adele
Feb 01 2025
Disraeli Gears by Cream
Feb 02 2025

Pretty great album. I hear a mix of blues and rock, which is very nice.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Feb 03 2025

Nota bad album. Very classic sound, musicians are spot on. Not a lot of singing, but pretty chilled and enjoyable rock album.

My Generation by The Who
Feb 04 2025

Not the best rock album I heard. There are definitely better ones out there, but it was not the worst album.

Life Thru A Lens by Robbie Williams
Feb 07 2025

It's got some qualities I like and qualities I don't like. It's ok.

Guero by Beck
Feb 08 2025
Zombie by Fela Kuti
Feb 11 2025

Great sounding album from an artist I like.

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 18 2025

One of the best to do it.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Feb 22 2025

One of my favorite albums. This is my brother's favorite too. You've got it bad girl is a true gem.

Highway to Hell by AC/DC
Feb 25 2025

A classic ACDC album I enjoy. Didn't think I would but it really grew on me.

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Feb 28 2025

One of my favorites. I really respect Herbie for going in this direction.

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Mar 17 2025

Have always enjoyed listening to this album, despite Frank Ocean not giving us much.

Graceland by Paul Simon
Mar 23 2025

Amazing album. Grew up with the music. Love the African influences.

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Mar 25 2025

Love this album. Gave it a listen a bit later, one of my top albums now.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Apr 04 2025

I grew up listening to this album. In my heart, it is one of the best ever.

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Apr 19 2025

I love parliament funkadelic and this is a great funk album, though my favorite is the clones of Dr. Funkenstine.

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Apr 20 2025

Great album by Sly and the family stone, but my favorite is Fresh.

The White Album by Beatles
Jun 23 2025

Gave it a listen, pretty good. Heard a lot of familiar songs in it.

Oct 22 2025

Have listened to this album before. While not my favorite Lauryn hill album, it is still really good. This and Fugees the score.

Homework by Daft Punk
Oct 26 2025

A favorite from my childhood.

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Nov 25 2025

One of Gorillaz's best albums in my opinion. My personal favorite is plastic beach, but this is my second favorite album. So different for the time it was released. Very intriguing concept of an album. It always surprises me how their first album was a concept album that had a digital band that was backing for it. There is even a lore behind all of the fictional characters of the band. Groundbreaking album by a groundbreaking band.

Abbey Road by Beatles
Dec 03 2025

It’s mid. Only highlight for me was here comes the sun.

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Dec 31 2025

Love this album. Sounds so expressive. I'm a big fan of Milton Nascimento.

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Jan 10 2026

It was alright. Sounded very experimental, required my fullest attention. Wouldn't put this on unless I needed inspiration. This album appeals to a specific audience and I have to be in a certain mood to listen to it. And even then, I think there are better albums for that.

Be by Common
Feb 14 2026

Not too bad of an album, hear some Neo-soul influences and influences that could be heard from a tribe called quest. It doesn't try too much, but it is still just overall a great hiphop album.

Rapture by Anita Baker
May 03 2026
Bad by Michael Jackson
May 04 2026

One of my all-time favorite albums and my favorite Michael Jackson album period. The production is so crisp, every instrumental element adds to the exciting atmosphere established in every song. The 80s would not be complete without this album.

Led Zeppelin II by Led Zeppelin
May 15 2026

One of my favorite rock albums.

Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
Jul 24 2026

Some songs are cool, some I recognize, some aren't. That's all I have to say.
