Zombie by Fela Kuti
Mar 27 2025

Funky African Jazz, apparently inspired Talking Heads. Nothing to hate here, if a bit long. Bernie Hancock esque, I’m a fan. 3.7/5

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
Mar 28 2025

Fine. Feels like a soundtrack you'd hear at a Bushwick thrift store. A few standouts, but suffers from the double LP length problem

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Mar 31 2025

Sympathy for the Devils slaps, the rest is enjoyable but doesn’t really stand out. Narratively rich but not enough to get me to come back

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Apr 01 2025

There is a reason Bob Marley is the GOAT in his field. This album has banger after banger after banger

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Apr 03 2025

Boring and repetitive, group chants of their unimaginative song titles. Innovative for the time but dull in retrospect

Play by Moby
Apr 08 2025

Cool ambient 90s high production 2 hours long is nuts can’t say u listened to it all tho

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Apr 15 2025
Armed Forces by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Apr 16 2025

Fine, Elvis Costello kind of has an annoying voice. Decidedly uncool 70s music, fine instrumentals

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Apr 21 2025

Probally one of the best rap albums ever made, a bit repetitive but engaging enough

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Apr 22 2025

Tight high concept jazz, amazing it’s as old as it is

Teenage Head by Flamin' Groovies
Apr 23 2025

Fine yet forgettable 70s grooves

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Apr 24 2025

Three bangers, then a bunch of semi-country filler

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
Apr 25 2025

Sappy Singer songwriter, high quality I guess just not my style

Murmur by R.E.M.
May 01 2025
Back In Black by AC/DC
May 05 2025

It’s AC/DC monotonous sometimes but energetic enough to make you like it

Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots by The Flaming Lips
May 06 2025

Some bangers (title track and race for the prize) but also a lot of fuzzed out druggy filler

xx by The xx
May 07 2025
Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
May 12 2025

Def still finding their groove lyrically but instrumentally fantastic 4/5

Jul 11 2025

There’s a reason this is widely considered among the best albums of all time Tracks seamlessly transition between different emotions, producing a coherent and provocative album. 10/10 We will still be listening to this one hundred years in the future

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Jul 14 2025

Bland and simple elevator music Not sure why it’s so popular

Harvest by Neil Young
Jul 22 2025
