Wonderful album, totally matched the angsty teenage energy of my day.

A surprisingly diverse range of sounds and styles, the album kept me engaged the whole hour and three minutes. Sadly, the themes and lyrics did not speak to me. Solid album, just not for me.

A masterpiece of a rock album. Nothing says 70s rock like a 20 minute, 7 part ballad of electronic squealing. And what’s that? There’s more? Bonus content? I’m sold. Would certainly recommend to any hard core rock enthusiasts. As for me: 3 stars.

Lowkey expected more from the velvet underground's "boundary pushing" album. Pretty solid nonetheless. Loved especially the title track. 3 stars.

A phenomenal soul album. It made my day, just vibing to this all morning long. Would not recommend to listen and run if you're trying to get a pr on your 5k, but absolutely would recommend if you are looking for an upbeat, happy vibe. 4 stars, hands down.

A classic. It's good. Great even. An impactful and impressive album even to this day. Shaping the future of rock and pop music in its own time and a timeless masterpiece in our time, the Beatles never fail to disappoint and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is no exception. Felt like everything 70s rock stands for in my head canon. Could easily slip into a guardians of the galaxy movie. Sadly nothing special. Do love me some good organ though. 3 stars.

The lyrics were so smooth they melted like butter through my fingertips. The beat so groovy you could scrub barnacles with it. Gotta love a quality hip-hop album. 4 stars.

Surprisingly good. Love Disc 1 a ton, Disc 2 was a little unnecessary imo. Just good vibes all around though. 4 stars fs fs.

Pretty good

Phenomenal album, beautiful combination of styles and sounds. From the jazzy sax/piano comping to the groovy, funky beats. Love it. Plus moving lyrics? Sheesh. Part of me wants to drop a 5 star, but I’m a chicken. 4.5 stars if I could. 4 stars otherwise.

You can feel the emotion behind the rock in this album. Lots of feeling, lots of yelling, lots of rocking. Was good for keeping me awake at work today. 3 stars

Honestly wasn’t all that special. Not the biggest ska fan in the world, but there were some quality songs in the album and overall meaningful/fun lyric writing. 3 stars, feeling generous

Not as much bossanova as I’d have expected. Still pretty dang good rock though. Lucky for pixies I don’t actually like bossanova all that much. 4 stars.

Solid album

A couple of straight up bops in this album. Kinda homogenous in sound, but it’s a good sound imo. Id give 3.5 if I could, but I’m generous today. 4 stars.

Such a vibe listening to this album today. Incredible songwriting, the lyricism was on point and tackled a variety of topics big and small. Maybe I’ll regret this later, but . . . 5 stars

Loved listening to this album! Im a sucker for any kind of music with jazzy undertones, and Chicago brought that and more in transit authority. Some incredibly moving solos, some catchy tunes, fun lyrics, what more can you ask for from an album?

Loved the title track, Im not one to vibe with style of rock. But I loved the piano, and the album certainly grew on me. Solid 3 stars

Ok sheesh! Jazz fusion is on this list?? Of course I already had heard birdland, but super cool to hear the other tracks on this album. Such a cool vibe and style. Weather report does such a good job making an engaging and cohesive Freeform sound. I almost want to give 5 stars, but I think I’ll settle with 4.
